Another one?

"You're not going to give up, are you?"

"I'm going to say this right now Anata, once I make up my mind, no one can change my mind."

"You really want to meet my family?"

"Yes."

"And you promise to not freak out in any way?"

Showing an expression as if to say try me, Sheila made Felix sigh and agree reluctantly.

The reason Felix didn't want to take Sheila back home with him and instead buy another house and keep her in it wasn't just because of his perverted thoughts. It also wasn't just because of his awkward and complicated relationship with Sarah.

Admittedly both of these reasons did play a part in his decision, but neither of them was the most important reason.

The real reason behind his decision was because he felt that he had a connection with Sheila, and he was a little nervous that it wouldn't be there anymore after she learnt of all the women he lived with.

After all, even though Felix wasn't a relationship expert, he was more than smart enough to guess what would happen when any woman learnt that her man was living with four women none of whom he was blood related to.

"Fine. But let me set the record clear when I say that I am against this."

"Whatever. Let's go! I want to meet my future family."

Sighing once again, Felix began walking at a pace slower than the one he walked here in.

"We don't have to do this you know,"

"I know. But I want to. So are you coming in with me, or shall I go in alone?"

"I…. Aiiii….."

Letting out a sigh since he didn't know what to say or do, Felix continued remaining standing in front of the house while Sheila kept on tapping her foot impatiently.

"I really don't know why you are behaving so weirdly, boya. Your current behaviour is making me even more curious about your family than the fact that I couldn't find any information about them in the system."

Smiling wryly since he knew why Sheila was unable to find any records of his current family, Felix once again wanted to make sure that she didn't meet the women he lived with at all costs.

After all, she only knew that he lived with his family, and that his family was entirely off the records.

There was definitely no way that she would be ready for what waited for her behind that door.

"Aaaaaa! Whatever happens will happen!"

Declaring his intention to the outside world, Felix stomped his foot and looked towards Sheila whose eyes seemed to be commending him.

"You should go in by yourself. I just remembered that there are some things I need to buy."

Running away once he said those words which weren't a complete lie since he needed both the meat of Astral Beasts, and alchemy pills which would help him recover from exhaustion, Felix in a matter of seconds disappeared from Sheila's eyes.

"This… What part about me meeting his family could scare him so much? Which family wouldn't jump in joy at the possibility of obtaining a daughter in law from the Khun Family?"

Turning nervous herself because Felix didn't show even a tenth of his current agitation when he went off and massacred the Asta Family, Sheila almost left herself.

But in the end she chose to fulfil her original intention behind coming here and walked up to the huge house and got ready to meet Felix's family which she guessed was a huge one due to the size of the house.

Raising her hand and ringing the bell, Sheila couldn't remember the last time she felt so nervous. And once she the person who opened the door, her nervousness further increased.

This was because even though the woman who opened the door didn't possess any cultivation, she didn't lack in any other way.

Be it her appearance, her temperament, or how melodious her voice was. This woman made even Sheila feel a little insecure and doubt if she could compare to her purely based on these three aspects.

Therefore, in those moments where she was nervous, when Sarah suddenly asked, "Who are you?", Sheila loudly said, "Mother in law!"

'Another one?!!!'

Sneaking inside his room after he finished buying everything he set out for, Felix pressed his ear against the door and began trying to listen to what the three women who were sitting around each other were saying.

After all, an individual's Astral Sense could only do so much and letting them hear what others were talking about wasn't something it could do.

Sure it was pathetic of Felix to run away before and not even leave his room right now, but what could he do?

The current situation had him feeling more nervous than when he was inside the Asta Family and killing everyone he came across.

"Ah, Felix has come back. There's something I have to talk about with him, so please excuse me mother in law."

Hastily stepping back after he heard those words, Felix managed to escape the door which would have hit him in the face.

Walking inside the room and turning the lights on, Sheila had a bright smile on her face which along with the harmonious feeling words he heard made Felix think that maybe everything went smoothly and he was the one who was feeling nervous for no reason.

Her next words however completely destroyed such thoughts.

"Explain yourself."
