An opportunity to shine

"Can you believe this?!"

Pointing towards his personal terminal which was projecting what looked like a poster, the young man who was guarding a house kept on shouting so loudly towards his fellow guard that the ones who employed him could no longer bear with it and came out to scold him.

However, the moment they read what was written on the poster everyone was so shocked that no words came out of their mouth.

Though the title sounded a little awkward since it was obvious that they had chosen a word which was gender neutral, everyone who read the details written underneath it couldn't help it as their breathing turned harder and their eyes began shining like the brightest stars in the sky before they finally noticed the age restriction.

Only those below the age of 25 could register their name in the competition and spread their name across almost the entire Astral World. If they won, that is.

After all, this competition was going to take place under the control of the Astral Government to rank the strongest of the strongest cultivators in each dimension under the age of 25.

And depending on your ranking, it wasn't just fame which you obtained across all the dimensions but also great prizes which would turn the eyes of most people green with greed.

In the end though, it was still the fame which everyone who would participate in it would want to obtain. Given how many strong forces there were in the higher dimensions, as long as they managed to stand out among their peers, being recruited by even the strongest forces which not even the Astral Government would dare to offend easily wouldn't be just a dream.

And if that did happen, what else would any of them want? Special cultivation resources? Riches? Women? Tsk, as long as you joined any of those top forces, all of them would find their own way towards them sooner or later.

Thus, everyone who was eligible to take part in this competition which was being hosted for the first time ever were filled with so much enthusiasm that none of them felt like they could sleep this night.

That was how excited everyone was about the Young Astral Deities Ranking Competition. Especially because all they needed to fight against was those who lived in the same dimension as them. Due to this, everyone in every dimension was filled with anticipation for the competition to start as soon as possible so that they could shine like real stars in the night sky.

Well, almost everyone who could participate in the competition was excited. For those few of this generation who were born with everything they might ever need, this competition was just something which would further increase their popularity and serve as an ego boost.

Due to this, the heaven blessed sons and daughters who possessed everything from beauty to talent didn't bother wasting their time thinking much about the competition which was two months away.

Of course, there was one more individual who despite not possessing what the real heaven blessed sons and daughters didn't feel too excited about the Young Astral Deity Ranking Competition.

And this was none other than our very own Felix who considered himself as the one and only heaven blessed son due to possessing the Astral Library Orb.

This was also why Felix who believed that he was destined to become the strongest individual didn't place too much attention towards the upcoming competition. After all, unlike the others he didn't need to join any force to obtain access to the high-level Astral Rune Designs and Ink Formulas possessed by the strong forces.

If there was anything that Felix actually lacked, it was combat skills and money to purchase the resources needed for him to inscribe the Astral Runes. And with the two of them being things Felix was confident in earning and obtaining by himself, there really wasn't anything that could make him feel motivated to take part in the competition.

Or at least, that was what he thought before Sheila who was gently massaging him at that time gave him quite a good reason to feel motivated.

"Huh? I didn't expect you to give me such advice."

"Hmmm.. Why wouldn't I?"

"For starters, shouldn't you be jealous or worried when thinking of me being with other women?"

"Fufufufufufufu, jealous? Maybe a little, but worried? Definitely not. Since I know who it is that you'll love the most, why would I ever be worried about someone snatching you away from me? You do love me the most, don't you?"

Whispering the last line into Felix's ear along with a puff of hot breath, Sheila made Felix's dick turn hard as he almost instantly nodded his head.

"Then there's nothing for me to worry about, is there?"

Going back to pressing down on Felix's exhausted muscles which were growing stronger by leaps and bounds day by day, Sheila said, "Monogamy might be something which you think is important, but such thoughts should only belong to ordinary men. For my husband who's destined to become a dragon, all the women in the world should dream about being a part of your harem."

Thinking if she should say a few more words in order to 'convince' Felix about how he should definitely possess a massive harem in the future, Sheila would never find out that the stunned look on Felix's face wasn't due to her encouraging him to chase after other women but because she had literally gotten rid of the one major problem which was weighing down on him.

How to make Sheila accept the idea of him wanting a harem?

But now that she had given her answer even before he could ask the question, Felix's happiness had no bounds, especially when considering that Sheila had just told him to participate and win the competition so that he'd be able to sleep with beautiful women.

'Haaaaa… What a great wife I have. Every man would die from envy if they learnt about how my wife wants me to build a harem. Hahahahahahahahaha…,'

Laughing like a fool on the inside, Felix slowly drifted into sleep with his dream about possessing the biggest harem with the most beautiful women in the world inside it seeming one step closer for him to achieve and turn into a reality.
