"Cold?" he asked, looking down at her.
Jasmine Yale shook her head. "No, I'm not cold. I wore an extra sweater today."
Sylvan Cheney noticed, indeed.
"The temperature varies a lot. If you get cold, let me know, and I'll take you somewhere else to watch."
The two of them walked side by side to the lakeside.
The lake at night shimmered under the lights, the dark water reflecting circles of ripples, quite a sight to behold.
Jasmine loved such scenery. She leaned on the railing, leisurely gazing out at the lake.
The breeze blew, very pleasant.
"What time is it now? When does it start?" Jasmine asked.
Sylvan glanced at his watch. "There's still half an hour left."
"Ah? Half an hour? So now we can only... stand?"
"Pretty much." Sylvan moved closer to her side, "You could also chat with me."
"Then could you buy me a cup of milk tea? I'd like chocolate." Jasmine said as she looked in her purse. "Here, I want chocolate."
