Break

So-Young woke up early the next morning. She took a quick shower and put on some casual clothes. A t-shirt and some track pants would suffice. She went downstairs and made herself some breakfast. It was just some toast with a milkshake. It was 8:00 am by this time. She thought that it was best if she woke her other members. She went to her room and took a filming camera and set it up. She proceeded to shut the door.

She then snatched the blankets of both Minzy and CL.

So-Young: "Rise and shine my dear unnis. The sun is up to greet you." She sang this in the loudest voice she could."

Minzy: "So-Yo!! Let me sleep."

CL: "five more minutes!!"

So-Young: "I can't do that. The sun is missing you dearly."

Minzy: "I hate you!"

CL: "Urghhh!"

So-Young: "This is what a maknae is supposed to do."

She filmed the whole thing with Dara and Bom too. It was hilarious. Bom showed no signs of moving. Dara was annoyed. It was totally unlike her behavior in the daytime. Before Bom woke up, So-Young started putting some make up on her face. She spread the lipstick in a very funny way and the mascara too. Bom's reaction when she found out was caught on camera too. Before facing any consequences of her actions, So-Young ran out of the house and took a cab back home. She could hear Mom screaming even after she left the house. So-Young was in tears from laughing too hard.

She filmed the whole thing because the company had decided to make a show where their life at the apartment would be seen. Some funny content would always be welcome. It was actually So-Young who proposed this to the CEO. It would be a good idea to let the fans see how they were living everyday in the apartment together. After thinking about it, Yang-Hyun Suk agreed. So, there were a lot of cameras in the apartment.

It would have been better if they could live-stream it, but there was no technology to support this notion yet. There were no smart phones as of now. So-Young wanted to change that. Till now she was happy to be chasing her dream, but she wanted to do something different from their regular routine. The nerd in her was itching to do something.

So, she decided to open a company that manufactures smart-phones. At least that was her main goal. She had to first make a decent sample to begin with. She was going back home today to discuss this with her father. He was the CEO of a small company involved with what she wanted to do - Mobile phones and other useful technology. It would be convenient to talk to him. Though he was 'CEO' - that was only in name. He could not be involved in taking any major decisions. He was almost like a puppet for the shareholders. He was planning on making his own company sooner or later.

Luckily, So-Young could help him make it big in the business world. She remembered most of the parts in a smart-phone. In her past life, she had bought a cheap smart phone and dismantled it out of curiosity. She opened it and tried to find out the relevance of each part in the functioning of the device. She even tried to make a simpler version of the smart-phone with the materials available to her. Sadly, just before she was able to complete the project, the truck crashed into her. But she could complete it now!

She asked the cab driver to stop at a spot few kilometers from her house. She did not give her actual address after multiple warnings from both her manager and their CEO. They got a huge lecture on the potential dangers there could be if their address got leaked out. She had to walk back home. It was a twenty minute walk back home for a normal person. The keyword in that sentence was - normal person. From which angle was So-Young normal? She walked with a brisk pace and made it home in half the time.

She had not informed her parents of her visit. She wanted to surprise them. She opened the door to her house with her key and silently crept in. She tip-toed into the living room and the scene before her warmed her heart. As it was a holiday today, both her parents were at home. They were sitting on the sofa, back facing her and playing with Taetae. Only Taetae could see her. He showed a bright smile when he noticed her.

Her parents turned back to see what he was smiling at. They both were utterly shocked. Her mother almost screamed. After a few seconds of deep breathing, they came up and squished her in a hug.

Mom: "So-Young! How come you are here?"

Dad: "WE missed you so much!"

So-Young: "We finally got a holiday today, so I decided to come see you guys. I missed you too."

Taetae grasped her arm with his tiny hands and So-Young looked at him.

So-Young: "Hey there little guy! You have gotten so big!"

She was seeing him after a month and he had grown a lot. She took him from her mother's arms and threw him into the air and caught him. (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME) He was really happy about it and was giggling a lot. Her mother did not looked too pleased. before she was scolded, she walked to the living room and sat down with him.
