The Completed Product

Everyone had a good night of sleep and got up early in the morning. So-Young was about to leave when someone called out to her.

Taehyung : "Noona, where are you going so early?"

So-Young : "I am going out for a run."

Taehyung : "Can I come along?"

So-Young : "Sure, but don't take too long to get ready."

Taehyung : "Just wait for 2 minutes."

He ran into his room to change. So-Young sat down on the couch and waited for him. True to his word, he came down in minutes. So-Young got up and they made their way out. They went for a run around the town. It was a pretty rough trail to run on. So-Young deliberately lowered her pace so that Taehyung could keep up with her. He barely managed to do so.

By the time they reached home, both of them were covered with sweat. Taehyung plopped himself onto the couch and let out a groan.

Taehyung : "Noona, how are you not tired?"

So-Young : "I do this everyday. It becomes easier as time passes."

Taehyung : "Then, can I accompany you the whole time you are here?"

So-Young : "Sure. But you will find it hard."

Taehyung : "It is okay. I wanna do this."

They ate a heavy breakfast along with the whole family. So-Young decided to complete her smartphone. She sat down in the living room with the materials and began to work. Half an hour later, the rest of the kids came in.

Taetae : "Noona, what are you doing."

So-Young : "I'll show you when I have completed the project."

Taehyung : "I am going to do my homework here. Is that okay Noona?"

So-Young :"Sit down, I'll help you if you need any help."

Eun Jun : "Me too."

Jun Guys : "Me three."

Taetae : " Noona. Me!"

All of them gathered around So-Young and did their own thing. They were all getting closer despite meeting for only one day. Occasionally, they asked a few doubts to her which she helped clear.

Days passed and it was soon Christmas Eve. So-Young managed to complete her samples just on time. She made two phones. She thought it would take her a longer time, but for some reason, she was able to concentrate better here. She planned on gifting the phone to her parents as a Christmas gift. She would then explain the mechanisms of it to them. This whole time, Taehyung was going for a run with her. He was now able to keep up with her. She gradually added some exercises more to their routine.

They family of 11 baked some sweets together ate a sumptuous dinner. They had a small Christmas tree in the corner of the living room. When everyone went to sleep, the adults and So-Young came out to place their gifts underneath the tree. So-Young had bought something for everyone.

When morning came, So-Young went into everyone's room to wake them up.

So-Young : "Guys, wake up, Your gifts are here."

The kids got up and rushed into the living area. They were extremely excited to open the gifts. The elders were already seated in the living room. The four kids ran and started searching for their own presents. They tore open the wrapping and extracted the gift out. All of them were really satisfied with their gifts. So-Young took the gifts that she had prepared for the elders and gave it to them. They were surprised that they were getting gifts too. They quickly opened them. They were really happy. So-Young handed a box each to her parents.

So-Young: "Mom, Dad these are the things I have been working really hard on. I hope you will like them."

She winked at her father. He immediately understood what the gift was and restless. He carefully opened the box and removed the phone from it.

Mom : "So-Young, what is this."

So-Young : "These are smart phones. I was making them since a few months."

Mom : "Smart phone? What is that?"

So-Young I'll show you."

She sad down between her parents and switched the phone on. Then she tapped on the screen and unlocked it. Everyone gasped when they saw the screen changing based on touch. She then showed them a few features she incorporated into the phone. She had only developed a few games, a camera, a message app, a voice assistant, the notes app, the clock app, voice recording app, calculator, torch, a search engine and a few others. She had plans for the music app, some app like youtube and much more.

There was silence in the room when she finished her demonstration. She felt a little awkward.

So-Young : "Did you not like it?"

Mom&Dad : "It was amazing."

Dad : "I never expected something this advanced. This is going to sell like hot cakes."

Mom : "This really surprised me. You father daughter must have been keeping secrets."

Dad : "This is the only thing we did not tell you."

Mom : "It better be!"

So-Young : "I have further plans for the phone. We can sell this one as the moment i make changes, the settings on all of the phones I created will change as well."

Dad : "My Daughter is the best."

Her father was almost dancing in happiness. Her Aunt, Uncle, cousins and grandparents were extremely impressed by her. Someone in their family was actually a genius. Taetae did not understand what was happening, but knew that his sister was being praised. He felt proud of the fact that his sister was really cool.
