Idealistic

***TIMESKIP 3 MONTHS***

Three months flashed by in the blink of an eye. Their schedules were a bit more relaxed. Though they did get some critique on the mistakes they made during the tour and were asked to work on them.

The tour '2every1' had been a MAJOR success. Their tickets got sold out within a few hours, the profits were plenty, they stabilized their fanbase, it was even growing AND the girls were getting ready for their comeback the following year. It was a milestone for not just a girl group, but also for Korean acts. But, the same could not be said for Myun-soo's company.

The relaxed schedule allowed So-Young to look into the matter at hand - The new company.

The problem arose due to a lack of funds due to So-Young's request. So-Young wanted to let their family have ALL the shares in the company so that the profits generated by the business would remain in the family. It was a decent plan, but the problem was... They just did not have enough money to continue with their plans. Kim Myun-Soo almost used up all the money he had earned and saved up over the last two decades he worked. Their family was surviving on Kim Min-Hee's income.

Also, her plan to ask her friends to invest went down the drain the moment she realized that the stock prices would shoot through the roof the moment people realised the worth of their company. It was impossible for them - who were in their early twenties to fork out enough money. She discussed it with them, and they too realized how far-fetched her plan sounded and agreed without question.

They had to bring in investors for their company and fast. Their product was bound to attract people. The only thing they had to do was attract the big fish in the market.

During this whole fiasco, So-Young came to realize her own faults. She had very idealistic thoughts that could practically never be accomplished. She also felt that she was not suited for business... At least not yet. One needed to be slick and fast if they wanted to make it big. This could be said for any profession, but it was especially so for a business. So-Young's father, Kim Myun-Soo, was an extremely smart person. Evidence for this was that he was able to achieve the position of CEO for a big corporation on his own and at a very young age. So-Young realized there was so much more she needed to learn.

She decided that she would either have to learn how to manage this business or just completely depend on her father for this matter. She was leaning onto the latter. She thought it would make more sense for a clearly experienced person to take charge of this than appoint her a newbie who had no idea what she was doing. Though her father would be disappointed that he would not be able to spend enough time with his daughter, he would understand where her decision was coming from.

Within a few weeks, they were able to gain the attention of some well-known people in the business and they set a date for a meeting. The meeting went really well and a contract would be signed shortly. They were able to get multiple investors. The contract would be very favorable for their company and would allow the production of the smartphones to begin. It was estimated that the product would be in the market the following year. Sadly, the market was already filled with touch screen phones like the iPhone 4. So, the shock factor of having the first touch phone would be reduced, but the other features of the phone would have no competition.

So-young also began preparing for her next comeback along with her friends. YG was pushing the whole "YG family" idea. This led to more collaborations among all artists and there was a friendly atmosphere all over the company. There were many shows in which they were scheduled to appear together and a few collaborations among the artists. It brought forth a feeling of unity among everyone. Truly a happy family.

Everything was going well, but So-Young was aiming for an international breakthrough. Though she knew it was impossible for them to achieve it anytime soon, she still had to set the path for the future. And this path was filled with thorns and obstacles. It was basically a test of their determination. And So-young wanted to ace that test.
