Bo Chan-Juan
Secret realms, as the name suggests, these realms are hidden form the eyes of a normal human, or would not be originally a part of our dimension. These realms are usually very dangerous, no one could accurately gauge the difficulty level of a secret realm. The difficulty varied every time someone went into one. If you were lucky you could be in a barren realm, but if you luck was not on your side, you could be dropped in the middle of a plane filled to the brim with demonic beasts with their cultivation base no less than supreme immortal realm.
And currently, I am in such a secret realm. This is not a new realm, but instead one of the oldest ones. But the peculiar thing was that there was no treasure found in the whole realm. And considering the difficulty level, it was abandoned.
I would not have been here if not for my last hope, the only possible way to get the Million Years Old Azure Dragon Herb. It was known to be one of the rarest ranked herbs, so rare that, if known about its appearance, the whole Heaven Side Continent would fight over it. then there won't be any chance for me to get my hands on it. Forget me, even my dad and brothers won't be able to lay their hands on it.
This plane was truly bizarre, it seemed it was like ruins of a civilization, there were what seemed to be tall buildings collapsed, some were half broken some in complete rabble, but the worst part of this realm were the beasts, which were at least half-step supreme immortal and the traps located in here.
These traps had no array formation or even any ounce of energy in them, they were better than any assassin attack I have ever seen, and would even make practitioners above supreme immortal realm a run for their money. Also, there was a need to constantly protect yourself from the poison in the air, which at first sight did not seem harmful, but the longer you remain the worst it becomes slowly corrupting your internal organs.
I have been in this realm for more than 2 months now, I had to be vigilant 24/7 cause a simple mistake would take my life away, I would not have been strong enough to face every danger in here head on even if I was at my peak, leave it for now.
But my hard work of 2 months was finally paying off, according to the scroll, the artifact was behind what seemed to be door. It was really well hidden door, I would not have been able to locate it with my sense too if not for the scroll. As I walked towards the door, is slowly opened by itself and what presented to my eyes was a room made of clear crystals, and in the center of it laid the artifact, a black coloured slim box, too slim to actually call it a box.
I was really shocked seeing that the scroll was telling the truth. While walking towards the turmoil, I was excited, nervous, anxious, my heart was beating more than a 100 miles per hour. After all my future would be decided if I could really get my hands on the Million Year Azure Dragon Herb.
But it was not the time for being swayed by the emotions, I need to be as calm as possible and look out for any possible and look out for any possible traps. It took me about 3 hrs to finally ensure that there were no traps in there. These 3 hr seemed to be more than 300 yrs to me, but I could finally get the artifact.
As I walked closer to it, I got a clear look of the artifact, it was a slim pitch-black box or book? It seemed neither a box nor a book, it was like a book but looked like a book, picking it up I was surprised to find that it weighed almost nothing. And there was weird symbol on top of it which I could not understand what it meant. It seemed like a head of a person which rather shaped like and inverted egg.
(A/N : well imagine it like a mac-book, black in colour with an Alienware logon in the center, with an aura finish)
Now it was upto me to find how this artifact actually works, the scroll only mentioned about the artifact and to talk to the owner of the artifact, and he would provide you with the thing that you need the most. It was a vague description, and to be honest I am still sceptical of what it meant by ' what you need the most '.
But since I have it now, only way to know it to try to talk to the owner and see if I would get the Million Year old Azure Dragon Herb.
The artifact was not a complete compact box, there seemed to be a small slit across its perimeter, and what seemed to be hinged at one end. After trying to open the lid, i found a lot of keys on one side and other side seemed to be a black mirror..?
After about 5 mins of fidgeting with the artifact there finally was a reaction, and it lit up, quiet brightly at that. Thinking it as a trap, I jumped back, but even after waiting for a few seconds it did not explode. It seemed it was just my imagination.
The artifact seemed to be working, now all that was left to do was to talk to the owner of the artifact and ask him for the herb. The words written on the screen were

A Group Chat…? Wh..? What is this? Is this how I am supposed to communicate with the owner. So first, I need to know how to use this, as I was wondering how to use it, the screen changed to show me some instructions, which seemed pretty easy to follow thru.

What a weird detailed introduction! Lee said in his heart.
Bo Chan-Juan? Daughter of a Supreme Immortal? What kind of Bullshit is that! While still mumbling in his own mind how much of a chuunibyou she was.Suddenly the group system announced.

[ Because Of Your Action of Inviting A Random Member You Have Received A 1x Red Box! ]
[ The Box would provide an Item or anything that you need as soon as you open it. However it can only be opened by the group members. You, the owner, can not open it! However you could ask to exchange it for some stuff from the group members who have received it! You don't need to worry about not getting anything because they can't refuse it.]
[ As for how would you get another Red Box, there are two ways to get it first is to invite a random member and you'll definitely receive one. Second, your actions in real life will give you a Red Box! As for what kind of actions, please uncover it your own. ]
The first thought in Lee's mind was 'What the hell! How come I am the only person everyone finds to do such things with. You give such a godly item then say you can't even use it, what the f*ck. Wait, how could it even provide me something useful that I want in real life. Damn that immortaldude404, he even pranks me here.'
"F*ck, lets put this aside for now, the group member comes first." Mumbling to himself, he convinced to ignore the silly notification and chat with the member first. So he replied in the group chat.
Supreme Immortal Lee : Hello
Bo Chan-Juan : Supreme Immortal Lee? Are you perhaps the owner of this Strange Artifact and this so called group chat?"
At first Lee was suspicious if his Bo Chan-Juan was a chuunibyou or not, but it seemed she was to deep into this syndrome to even save, or was just playing along, with her act. And it was clear that she was referring to the phone or laptop, from which ever she was accessing to this group chat.
However...it seemed kinda fun, so he played along with her.
Supreme Immortal Lee : I'm not the Creator of the those Artifacts, I merely know who made it, however I indeed am the owner of this group chat.
Bo Chan-Juan : Bo Chan-Juan pays respect to Senior
Damn, he couldn't believe how much she was into it, but even if he knew it was just a play or a prank, he couldn't help but smirked, he just couldn't control the expression on his face. Who doesn't like to be respected and paid respects to.
Supreme Immortal Lee : So what is it?
Bo Chan-Juan : Senior should be an extremely powerful Expert, but Senior I'll get straight to the point, in the scroll it said that this Artifact can give me the things I need, is it true?
The smirk on Lee's face grew to a shit eating grin when he saw she called him a powerful expert. He had no idea what the fuck she meant. After thinking for a few seconds about how to reply, it finally clicked that this Bo girl was referring to the red box given to him by the chat group.
Supreme Immortal Lee : Indeed, no need to tell me I know exactly you want.
Lee clicked on the Red Box and sent it to Bo Chan-Juan, the system said it's specifically for members so it was basically useless to him.

Even after waiting for some time, when he did not get any reply back, he went to type in a message back, but he received her message first instead.
Bo Chan-Juan : Senior! Thank you so much! I am in your debt. Please ask me anything, I will try my hardest to fulfil it.
For some reason could Lee could feel happiness radiating out of her, it was as if the thing inside the red box was really important to her, but he decided to pretend anyways. Maybe it was just his imagination.
Supreme Immortal Lee : I see, so you receive the item, good.
Bo Chan-Juan : Yes! Juan'er is grateful for receiving such a priceless herb!
'Herb …? Really now, why would someone be so happy after receiving a mere herb. Sigh, I really don't understand'
While thinking so, Lee noticed a change in the panel of red box, it showed what the group members received. Opening it, he saw that Bo girl had received a "A Million Years Azure Dragon Herb". He didn't understand how it quiet worked, but seemed like she received the herb and was quiet happy with it too.
Well now he really wanted to test what did it mean by he could ask something in exchange, like would he really get for what he asked for, and what is the limit, could he ask for money in return for the. Ahm .. 'red box', and maybe, just maybe it was real money too, no harm in trying right.
And as far as Lee understood the character of the girl, she was too much into Chinese cultivation plays, and so it would be better to ask for gold/silver or even some precious gems and see how it turns out.
Supreme Immortal Lee : Well, there is nothing free in this world, and everything has a price, so does this herb. And of-course, you are no exception from this. So, since you received that herb from me, you will naturally have to exchange it for something.

On the other side of screen Bo Chan-Juan started to sweat profoundly, her worst night mare came, she doesn't even know what could possibly she posses which could equate to the value of this 'A Million Years Azure Dragon Herb'. Heck even her life could not compare to the price of this herb, it was so rare and priceless.
She could very well run leaving the artifact behind, but it won't sit well with her for her whole life. But the major reason was the mystery behind the so called "Supreme Immortal Lee", a person who could by a simple message know what she needed and that too giving such a priceless herb without a second thought, like it was a common herb, she knew he was not some to be trifled with.
Well, if the price was really outrageous, or something which leave her, even her family could not pay, she would return the herb back, thou how much unwilling she might be, and how much of a diere need she would be of the herb. She just couldn't possibly put a risk to her whole family's life for a herb.
Still nervous with what to expect, she replied with the most sincere words she could come up with.
Bo Chan-Juan : Yes, Juan'er would do her best to pay senior back. Please do tell me what is it that Senior wants..?
Supreme Immortal Lee : Nothing much, just provide me with some gold and gems in return for the herb I have provided you, that would be enough.
Lee really felt embarrassed for typing such words. He was just trying to play the role of a proper senior, yes that was it, in no way was it his greed. No way he would ask someone ask for money for something which was not his to begin with. there was just no way.

On the other side Bo Chan-Juan got dumbfounded, she just could not believe what she read. Was that really it. This…. isn't this too simple? Gold and Gems are worthless in this continent, she thought that senior would ask for an enormous value items or treasure however he only asked for mortals possessions? To confirm it she had to re-read it twice or even thrice, she rubbed her eyes multiple times to make sure she was not hallucinating.
After good 5 mins of re-reading, rubbing her eyes, and even pinching herself she was over the moon. It seemed the senior was a real good person. Thou she was sceptical of it, and she should be, there are no good hearted people in the Heaven Side continent, well not good hearted enough to give a Million Year Azure Dragon herb for just some mortal possession which were useless to any cultivator.
She could not help but think 'Could it be senior just wanted this for nothing? Could it be there is some rules in the group chat that he needed to follow? A rule that I should give him the same value in exchange…' but no matter how she thought, it didn't make sense. Why would someone do such a …. Trade. The only conclusion was that the senior was a really good person!
Bo Chan-Juan impression of Lee had rose to an extreme high level in such a short amount of time.
Even thou it had been more than 5 minutes, Lee was in no hurry, he wanted to know how far would this actually go.
Bo Chan-Juan : Senior, I am extremely sorry. Jaun'er has no gold and silver, but gems, diamonds and jade work only.
Supreme Immortal Lee : Will do.
He doesn't expect anything anyways, he just wants to know how far would it go, so it wont actually matter to her what ever she wrote. But it was a surprise to know she actually replied. Now the thing was would he receive a picture of those things or what. He had no clue at all.
Bo Chan-Juan : Wait a moment Senior! Let me prepare them for you.
Bo Chan-Juan started to search in her storage ring and after a few seconds she finally gathered it all, it was not much just a small pile of them. She had taken out all the items which had diamond, gems and jade in them.
(A/N : small, a rather vague term, imagine by yourselves what could small mean, and what all items could be hidden in this pile which were not so normal to Lee … 😉 😜)
Seeing she had no other storage ring on her other than the one she currently was wearing, she took out of sapphire. Opening the lid, she sucked in the whole small pile of gems, diamonds and jades in it. after doing it all, she was present with a small problem, how to send the small box to the senior.
So she started to fiddle with the chat group to see if there was something that could help her to send it to senior Lee, after all he would have used the same thing to send the herb to her.
Being the natural genius she was she figured out the scan function in the artifact and used it to scan the small blue box and send it to senor Lee.
Seeing the box covert into small motes of light and going in through the screen, she seemed surprised at first, but left it at that. There were many mysteries in the world, what's one more.

Even after waiting for near half an hour he still could didn't receive and message back, he was really thinking if he pushed it too far so he was going to leave it at that, but then the sudden notification totally caught him off guard.
[ Bo Chan-Juan Has Sent You A Item! ]
he truly did not expect such a thing, did she also get something like a red box or something after joining the group, but if she had it from the start why did it take so long, was there something like a requirement for it too. He had no clue. His mind started to work out all possible explanations for it but he just could not get to it.
The only way to know to know if it was real or not he had to see it for himself. So without even blinking he clicked the receive button and the same thing happened, blue coloured motes of light materialized in-front of his eyes and transformed to a box completely formed of blue gem.
The scene was as if from a sci-fi movie, a literal box appeared on his hands from nothing. Still in a shocked state, he took the box in his hand and very carefully placed it on the table and started at it dumbfoundedly. It was as if his whole world view collapsed from this incident.
