Bellflower

Yu Mian nodded and said, "Could you tell her to call me back as soon as she can?"

Mo Kio smiled, "Will do." And Mian cut the call.

Kio looked around to see that few people were left. He suspected that they would be done soon and announcing results.

He scan the room and sighed, "First, they don't want to go and don't admit to their feelings. Now that they are gone there's no sign of them." Thinking this he called Chen on his phone and Hua to call them back.

Yu Chen, as she picked up Xia's call on Mo Kio's phone, went out of the room. He asked about why her phone was out of battery and what was wrong? Yu Chen explained to him how her phone had run out of battery and they had lost the competition. Si Xia was shocked and wanted to demand details, but something in Chen's voice stopped him. Instead he changed the subject and they began talking of things here and there. Yu Chen casually mentioned Xe Qingya, to which Si Xia's response was really comical.

He clearly did not remember who she was but tried to pretend that he remembered her because he thought that she was a friend of Chen's. Strolling while talking on the phone, Yu Chen had come up on the roof. It was a beautiful scenery, she was able to see a nice cozy garden in front of the building and could easily see beyond it. The roof itself was very pretty. It had small flower pots which were growing different seasonal flowers all around. Yu Chen did not talk for long. Si Xia had to get back to his tour, he had left his guide alone to call Chen. Though he insisted that he could talk, Chen knew better and told him to continue with the tour. She strolled around a little on the roof, admiring the flowers when a call flashed in Kio's phone. Noticing that it was her own number, she picked up. It was Mo Kio telling her to come down. She hung up and had turned around when she bumped into someone. She steadied herself and looked at the person into whom she had bumped. It was the tall boy again. But this time, instead of acting rude, he apologized, admiting that he wasn't looking where he was going.

Yu Chen smiled and said, "You seem to have changed quite a lot since the morning."

Tall boy, "Yup. Someone instilled manners in me."

Yu Chen: "That's nice." She felt awkward standing here alone with him so she said, "Anyway, I should be going."

Tall boy: "Sure. I noticed you looking at these flowers."

Yu Chen turned around to see what he was talking about. It was a dark blue bellflower. She liked it because it reminded her of her best friend, Mian. She nodded, "It's pretty. Don't you think."

The tall boy bent down and plucked one of them, "Here." he said, handing the flower to her.

Yu Chen was stunned, "I was only admiring it. And I don't think that we really are allowed to pluck them."

Tall boy, "No one will say anything. And anyway I have already plucked it, if you don't want it, i'll just throw it."
