Chen's little prank

While Yu Chen was trying to distract herself, a brilliant idea flashed across her mind. She grinned and looked at herself in the mirror.

Yu Chen was trying very hard to suppress her laughter as she walked out of the elevator towards Si Xia's office. Both Xi Hua's and Huo Zenghai's reactions had been priceless seeing her and she couldn't wait to see how Xia would react.

She was hoping her little prank would do away with all the awkwardness between them.

As expected, Chen was stopped by assistant Chuan. Yu Chen was already getting used to being stopped by him telling her that she could not enter.

Yu Chen ruffled her hair and said, "It's all right. I don't really have an appointment. But President Si ordered lunch."

Assistant Chuan eyed the bento in Chen's hands before he said, "I'll take it to the President."

Yu Chen beamed and said, "If he calls for me, I'll be waiting right here."

Assistant Chuan gave Chen a weird look before stepping into Si Xia's office.

It was almost lunch and Xia had luckily just finished a meeting and was sitting in his chair, resting his eyes for a bit.

"Chuan, is that you? Could you ask someone to get me a coffee or something?" Si Xia spoke as he heard the door open.

Assistant Chuan walked forward and said, "Sure President. And here's the lunch you ordered."

Si Xia frowned and opened his eyes upon hearing that Chuan had brought lunch he had ordered? He was about to tell Chuan off for beleiving strangers when his eyes fell of the bento box. Xia instantly recognised the box and his eyes beamed. He hurriedly took the box from Chuan and asked, "Is the person who brought this still here?"

Assistant Chuan was very surprised to see the 180 degree change in his boss's behaviour.

"Yes. He is waiting outside. Would you like me to call him in?" Assistant Chuan immediately asked.

Si Xia was already opening the lunch as he nodded, his attention on the box.

Soon after, Si Xia heard the door open again and the familiar smell met his nostrils before he looked up, chopsticks halfway to his mouth.

Si Xia froze as his eyes fell on the person that had just walked in. His mouth hung open and the piece of meat he had just been about to eat fell from between the chopsticks as Xia stared at Yu Chen.

Xia's eyes widened further as Yu Chen walked closer let out an angelic smile. "Did you recognise me?" she asked in a sweet voice.

This brought Si Xia out of shock as he looked at Yu Chen from top to bottom before he chuckled and put a hand on his forehead, "I'm sure you're gonna give me a heart attack one of these days!!!"

Yu Chen chuckled and walked around the table to Si Xia's chair. She pouted, "Don't I look good?"

Si Xia laughed, "You do. You really look good. Actually, you look so good that if you dress up like this for a few more times, I think I might turn gay!!!"

Yu Chen also laughed and looked down at her clothes. That was right! She was dressed as a boy!!!!!
