Yu Chen pouted as she crossed her arms, "Finding that coin is not something to really brag about, you know."
Si Xia laughed before he reached out to pinch Chen's cheek. "I was not talking about that." he said. Xia would have offered Chen the coin, but he knew Chen was only joking and was actually very happy that he had found the coin.
"Not that? What else did you find today?" Yu Chen asked, tilting her head.
Si Xia reached out and unfolded her hands before taking one in his hand. "I found a family." Xia spoke, his voice on the verge of cracking.
Yu Chen's cheeks turned a bit red and she mumbled, "Geez. Could you be any more cheezy? We're not even married yet."
Xia laughed and ruffled her hair. Chen blushed more deeper and pushed his hand away, saying, "Focus on the road. I don't want tomorrow's news to be 'Two idiots crashed a car on an empty road'."
Si Xia laughed and focused his attention back on the road as Yu Chen looked out of the window, cheeks red and a smile on her face.
The two afterwards visited Mr. and Mrs. Kio, who were very happy to see the two and offered again and again to serve them dinner, but Yu Chen refused, telling them that they had just returned from her own home.
Mrs. Mo smiled knowingly and said, "At least have some dumplings. We've not eaten them yet."
Chen rubbed and poked her belly, finally grinning, "I think I found some space."
Mr. Mo, who had been talking with Si Xia about something, let out a laugh and said, "Good. I hope Xia can find some too."
Si Xia chuckled as Mrs. Mo raised her eyebrows, "I hope you're thinking before talking dear. Don't forget Xia is your biggest competitor right now."
Mr. Mo laughed as Yu Chen chimed in, "For a few more months. Then the both of them will be have to be vary of me."
It was a lively atmosphere as everyone sat down to eat the dumplings.
This time, Yu Chen ate with a lot more composure and was on her second when she held up a shiny coin on her palm, chuckling in a resigned way.
After everyone had congratulated and blessed her and returned back to their food, Chen quietly leaned towards Si Xia and whispered in his ear, "Why did you do that?"
Si Xia frowned, "Do what?"
Chen rolled her eyes, "Just because you gave me your coin, doesn't mean your goodluck will transfer to me."
Si Xia was about to reply when Mrs. Mo stuck up some conversation with him and the private talk between the two broke up.
After saying goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Mo, Si Xia asked Yu Chen as he helped her in the car, "Where to now, my queen?"
Yu Cheb giggled and pinched his cheek, "Can't you stop being so cute all the time? You'll spoil me."
Si Xia smiled as he walked around and slipped in the driver seat. "You deserve to be spoilt." he murmured as the engine roared to life.
