Chapter 64: Sneak Attack
[Vicente's POV]
I instantly felt a blade pierce my chest, but it wasn't on my heart. I ripped it out of my chest and got to the fight only to be stabbed in the shoulder. I kicked the person in a cloak, as George and Chloe came to help me. Chloe tried her best to heal me, as more cloak people came at us. I pushed away the blade and started clashing with two of them. One had a warhammer and started to land solid blows on me.
"Use skill: Doble Conqueror Style- Conquista del Infierno. Use skill: Doble Conqueror Style- Conquista De Ilusiones." Chloe healed all of us along with Shiro, as we started to push them back. We had to combat a seemingly unending amount of people coming our way, as it seemed like we would lose. We were caught off guard and had to fight an uphill battle now. It was then that Dean was grabbed, as Sophia looked at that image with a snarl. She rushed over with everything she had, as she burst through the people in her way.They had started dating after Dean found out about her parents and now she was being captured. Hailey created cover, as Sophia ran over to try to save Dean, but she was too late.
"The blood of an endangered race, it is extravagant. This will serve nicely for our ritual. The end is coming!" The voice sent shivers down my spine, as I was blocked by more cloaked individuals. Dean disappeared, as Sophia started blowing through many of them. She was viciously punching through people and hitting her enemies all around the place. She seemed to have gotten a second wind while she destroyed more of them. More and more came, but that didn't stop her as she killed many of them with the new skills that she learned. We joined in and blew off some steam, as their numbers started to go down. They had stopped coming and so the end result of this was the mass murder of our enemies. Sophia still looked angry, as we all tried to console her. Everyone else went up, but it didn't work. I decided that I should give it a shot, if anything else I can at least relate a bit.
"We'll get her back, but you need to calm down or else you'll be putting yourself in unnecessary danger. You can't continue to love Dean, if you're dead." She grabbed my collar, but let go after taking in my words and letting out a few breaths.
"Yeah you're right, but we have to move quickly." That was already the plan, as we started going even quicker. While we ran, we planned things out and beat down some of the enemies that came our way.. We reached the area after 7 hours of running. They had set up barriers and multiple security followers out front. We would either have to go all out from the start or sneak in. Sophia already knew what she wanted to do, so we relented. It's time for our own sneak attack!
