"Hello, hello, ladies and gentleman--though, there aren't many ladies here other than the lovely Dr. Moone," I gave a wink to the beautiful woman nervously sitting next to the table full of Government officials. Though the guy next to her gave me a scowl, his gaze turning into a glare at my flirting - from the scent he's got covering him, he's Dr. Moone's lover or partner.

Shame. I was planning on trying to use her to escape.

Anyway, I strained against my restraints, shaking the metal coffin I was confined in. The sudden shaking made over half the room flinch in their seats as they felt the power of each of my thrashes. I wonder how they'd react if I went all-out?

"That's right, fellas, it's me--Lucien Robinson~!" I jokingly said, my disdain for them clear in my voice. These were the bastards who voted for me to be buried in a hole and never released again. Guess I had Waller to thank for not following orders and at least putting me in her Private Zoo of freaks where she could keep us close and ready for this squad or whatever she's doing. "The latest super soldier to put old grumpy over there out of business~" I said, smirking through the guarded mouth hole at the guy who was sitting next to Dr. Moone.

He scowled even harder, but the gentle Dr. Moone stopped him from doing anything, yet that only made my smirk even more disdainful.

Sighing, Waller stepped forward gesturing to me, "Like he said, this is Chief Petty Officer Robinson, or Lucien Robinson now that he's been Court Martialed. He's here to show you that there's no risk of him getting out of line. Isn't that right, Lucien?" she turned to me, a key in her hand as she put it in the first lock of many, unlocking it and carrying onto the next one.

"Yes, ma'am," I said, keeping my voice serious. You'd think this would be the best chance at escape, wouldn't you? But sadly, that is not the case. They'd already put a micro-explosive in the base of my neck.

Now, if it were the one they were gonna give the others? I'd be fine even if it went off. But this one was much more deadly. If the other micro-explosive was like a hand grenade, then the one in my neck was like a mini-missile. It sucks ass but I can wait for the proper opportunity because unlike me...everyone relaxes at some point. Everyone shows a weakness. And everyone...is capable of being exploited.

Waller continued to unlock the chains on the coffin before finally, I was free.

...Mostly.

The coffin opened and I walked out, the thick chains and restraints covering me posing no threat outside of annoying me. My hands were covering in thick metallic sheathes to stop me from doing anything dexterous with my fingers while inside the coffin. Each of the sheathes weighed around a ton, and with the chains and restraints currently on my body, I must have about 3 tons of dead weight on my body.

Yet I can barely feel it. Not that I'd tell Waller that. But she'd probably already figured it out.

After all, this is the major reason why they wanted to throw me into a pit; I wouldn't stop growing stronger. It was like the serum had taken a limiter off of my body. Which, in all honesty, it had. My mind was unfettered and my nervous system no longer held back my muscles. Growth hormones flooded my system and upped the density of my bones and muscles and the enhancement just doesn't stop.

So, in all honesty, I can't really blame them for locking me away. They were just scared they'd made something they couldn't control, and they were right. I'm not that easy to control. Even then, I'm still gonna be petty and eventually kill every single one of the people involved in the ruining of my life.

Tit for tat and whatnot.

"Haah~" I let out a sigh as I walked forward and into the room, stretching the muscles that hadn't been stretched in so long, "That feels nice," I let out a chuckle as I looked down on the officials surrounding me, towering over them with my tall and imposing figure, "Nice to meet you all," I lifted my hand up in a superficial and lazy salute, yet the ones who saw it still returned it, obviously not wanting to piss me off or to make amends or something stupid like that.

I couldn't hold it in and I laughed a little, imagining the stupid sight of my salute with a metal enclosed hand. Like some kind of weird cyborg saluting, huh?

After that, I just went to stretching, letting my body really get warmed up. The serum had given incredible flexibility as well, which was a very fun bonus. So I was doing all sorts of stretches with ease that'd make a Nun blush and pray for the strength to resist temptation. It'd probably be made worse by the fact that I didn't have a shirt and the only pants I had on were some raggedy linen pants that had been a bit too worn over the last 6 months of very, I mean VERY, enclosed confinement.

At least they washed me down otherwise I was sure I'd no doubt be stinking the room up quite a bit.

"As you can see, Lucien makes quite the imposing specimen, doesn't he?" Amanda spoke up, clearly not impressed by my unprofessionalism, but I couldn't care less, "I can guarantee he could wipe the floor with your entire security force, blindfolded and with his legs tied together," she said with a smug look before turning back to me with a look in her eye like a parent who'd caught their child with their hand in the cookie jar, "Break out of your restraints, Lucien. I'm sure you've grown far too used to them. After all, we upped the weight a month ago," she smiled and I knew I'd been seen through, so I just shrugged before standing up a little straighter, letting down the facade that I was being weighed down at all by the weight.

Flexing my forearm, I send my fingers expanding outward and the the unimaginably dense metal covering my hands started to contort and five individual points started to form as if the metal was cling film and my fingers were slowly popping through it. It took a few dozen seconds before the metal finally snapped and my fingers popped out. Wiggling them a little, I brought my free fingers to my other arm before beginning to tear the sheathe off, all the while smiling maniacally as I finally got a chance to let loose.

These metal alloy hand-sheathes may not weigh that much to me but they're definitely hard to tear, even with my strength!

Finally, after a lot of ripping, both of my hands and arms were free and I could easily tear off the restraints and chains covering my body. Smiling to the anxious officials in the room, I narrowed my eyes a little, "I hope you can see some worth in my strength~" I did a mock bow before walking over near to Amanda, my height dwarfing hers, as she only stood around 5'1" while I stood around 6'4".

"That metal was hard enough to stop bullets like they were flies banging against glass and if it weren't for the incredible weight, we'd have replaced Kevlar with it years ago. But Lucien broke out of it without even breaking a sweat! Imagine that power used against out enemies! And he ain't no simple brute, he was a Navy SEAL, and before we gave him the serum, we trained him in everything we could and he absorbed it all like a sponge!" Amanda got into her enthusiastic speech mode, speaking with such zeal over his own idea, that even I thought of believing it for a split second. "Brains and brawn, brought together, into the perfect killer with all the skills needed to get the job done! Can't you all see that?" she questioned before smirking, the entire room under her control, "Or do you need more convincing?"

At this point, I just stood behind her as I truly let my muscles relax and stretch without the annoying restraints covering my body. Each muscle was perfect and looked like it was chiseled from marble because of my pale white skin. And with each perfect muscle was the perfect control, so I went through each muscle and systematically flexed them, getting some fresh blood to them.

"Dr. Moone?" Amanda called and the gentle doctor slowly stood up before straightening out her dress and walking over to us. She nervously looked to me but I just smiled at her. Not the unnerving smile I gave the officials or the guards back at the prison...just a nice, welcoming smile.

Why? Because...I'd been like her once. Scared. Being used by superiors. Just in my case I was being used as a test subject because I tested positive for a Meta-Gene that could help me survive the Serum Deathstroke was given, and in great quantities, and then made/turned into the perfect killer. Dr. Moone, however, was being possessed by some kind of Ancient Metahuman. But all in all, we were both being used. So I could at least show her some sympathy and try and act like a normal person for her.

It seemed to work because she looked almost grateful for my normalcy, as she came to a stop on the left side of Amanda, while I was on the right side of her. She took off her glasses before laying them down on the board table in front of us.

She let out a tremored breath and I heard her heart beat spike as she steadied herself on the table.

"Enchantress..." she whispered and the lights flashed on and off, as an electrifying feeling filled the air. For me, at least. I felt my instincts go into alert mode, feeling danger for the first time ever since before I'd taken the serum. The air tingled my skin and I turned to inspect the doctor with all my concentration.

I saw a hand come up from the shadows underneath her's, before interlocking fingers with her and suddenly twisting her hand into the position into the one that was under the other. Probably to signify that Dr. Moone was taking the backseat for now.

And now? Enchantress was in charge.

Looking up at where Dr. Moone had been, all I saw now was a mystical being. She looked like the doctor...but she was exuding a black mist and the pupils of her eyes were glowing orange. Her hair was down and not in the bun Dr. Moone had been wearing it in and unlike her originally brown hair, it was now black and seemed matted and unkempt. Like hair stuck together with mud.

She didn't seem to be wearing much either, as she'd lost the blazer, blouse and skirt Dr. Moone had been wearing and was instead in some kind of golden chain-linked bikini. But the gold was dirty and didn't shine how it was supposed to. Most strikingly different about her appearance was the rusted crescent moon she was wearing wearing on her forehead. The two points were facing upwards and curving inward - it was a weird ornament, honestly.

When I finally came out of my inspection of the mystical Enchantress, it had only been a second. Maybe even less than that. But she was already looking at me with a curiosity that put my instincts into overdrive even more than her presence.

She trailed a hand over my muscles, seeming happy with just doing that. Amanda ignored this and poked at the Enchantress's heart with a pen which soon got the ancient being's attention.

Enchantress hissed as she turned to Amanda, the woman in question only smiling patiently.

"Go get what I told you to get, girl," Amanda spoke like she was speaking to a dog and it was stunning how a normal human like Amanda had the figurative balls to threaten a god-like magical being, and then treat them like a dog who wanted to play fetch.

Enchantress just hissed before the lights in the room shimmered again and she disappeared, and then re-appeared next to the General who'd apparently been vehemently against Amanda's idea. But this time she was holding a thick binder full of paper. On the cover there were a bunch of Arabic words that I quickly translated.

"Nuclear weapon plans from Tehran...Well I'll be damned," I smiled, looking up at Enchantress who was looking back over at me and Amanda. It was fun to know that not everything was boring in this world. I was beginning to think I'd physically outgrow everything in this world. Well, other than Superman at least. He'd done some pretty insane feats.

Shame he died.

. . .

And here I was. Back in my cell.

I'd performed like a good little circus monkey, and now the program had been passed by the board. But what did I have to show for it? Fuck all. Not even a single goddamn Jelly Donut.

Looking out at the rainy night through the little window they'd given me, I saw the turbulent clouds waving back and forth and ever so slowly, I closed my eyes to go to sleep. But as soon as I closed them, faces flashed into my mind and my eyes shot open again. "Guess I'm not sleeping tonight either, huh...?" with that, I got to thinking.

About what? Anything I could to keep my eyes open and not see those faces again. The faces of my family. I don't want to even think about it.
