"It's Nothing."

The drive to the police station had been long and silent, but she hadn't been bothered by it. She had spent the time thinking deeply about how much to say and what not to tell them.

"So what happened? What did you discuss with the driver?" Detective Tae-oh asked after they got to the station and were seated in a private room.

Apart from the fan that kept going in a circular motion, the room was calm.

"First, I would like to clarify that Park Ji-Tae was behind all this. I may have lied about not meeting with his driver earlier on, and I'm sorry about that," Jin-A said in a very confident tone that had the detectives looking at her closely and with interest.

"Why do you feel he is behind this?" Detective Tae-oh asked; he still believed there was something off about Park Ji-Tae even though he couldn't place his hands on it. He had bought Ji-Tae's sob story quite alright but still knew something about Ji-Tae didn't sit well with him.
