No Turning Back

Tae-Oh didn't respond immediately as he drove the car out of the church premises. And just when Jin-A was beginning to convince herself that he probably didn't hear her question, he turned to look at her briefly, "I'd like to say we are slowly approaching the decision stage."

"Decision stage?"

"Yes. The stage where you decide whether you want me in your life or not," Tae-Oh said, making Jin-A swallow nervously.

"And what if I decide I do not want you in my life?" Jin-A asked, biting her lips thoughtfully.

"Then I'm afraid I'll just have to convince you that you need me in your life," Tae-Oh said with a shrug and kept driving without looking at Jin-A.

"Need? What could I possibly need you for?" Jin-A asked in amusement.

"You need me to love you, to protect you, to help you become better, to put random smiles on your face, and make butterflies flutter in your stomach," Tae-Oh said with a wink.
