TWW 21

"Serves you right for being a piece of trash," a woman shouted. Some people agreed. Some people cheered.

They clamored as more and more gathered. Most of them didn't really care. All they want was some kind of entertainment.

Regina, looking so lunatic, walked towards Arabella, who was picking up the items that scattered on the floor. She kicked some of the items away from her.

"You used your son to hook my boyfriend. You call yourself a mother? Hah! Disgusting!!!!" she continued as she enjoyed the victorious feeling at that moment.

Arabella stood and looked at Regina. She looked tiny in front of her, but that didn't make her feel scared.

"I said I am not gonna argue with you. Say whatever you want, I don't care," she said calmly.

"Oh please! Stop acting as if you are so kind and humble. It is fucking disgusting!" Regina hissed.

Arabella turned around to walk away, but Regina grabbed her hand.

Arabella let out a harsh sigh.

"Let me go or you will regret it!" she warned as she looked at Regina smirking at her.

"Or what? You will call Luke?!" Regina teased.

"Fine. What do you want us to talk about? How about we start with my fake relationship? Interested?" Arabella stated, asking a staff to bring them two chairs and a table.

Regina looked confused while Arabella smiled at her perplexed reaction.

"Sit. If you wanna know everything, sit," Arabella said gesturing Regina to sit opposite her.

"Whatever you're planning, know that millions of my fans are watching right now. One wrong move and you' re dead," Regina warned as she sat down.

"You don't have to remind me something I already know," she replied challenging Regina's mania.

"You have only five questions to ask, so choose your questions carefully. Let's begin!" Arabella exclaimed calling the attention of everyone present.

"Fire all your questions up!" she dared Regina.

"Hah! This is ridiculous! How dare you order me like this?!" Regina grunted.

"I don't have much time. If you don't wanna ask, then I will go," Arabella answered.

"Fine! Why did you fool Luke? Is it because of money? You even used your son. How could you do that? " Regina asked.

"Minus three. You have two questions left," Arabella reminded Regina, who was infuriated by the situation.

"Whatever. Just answer!" she said with her chin up.

Arabella took a deep breath.

"For starters, I didn't fool Luke. After giving birth to my son, his father ditched me. I waited for days, hoping that one day he will come back because my son needs him... I needed him. But, he never came. Maybe, you all know the answer to that. I suffered from postpartum depression and on top of that, I didn't have the money to pay all the bills."

The room was quiet as she spoke.

"Oh, the lies! Stop fabricating stories!" Regina hissed as she noticed that people around them are becoming teary-eyed by her story.

"I don't have to fabricate stories to be loved by millions. I am just answering your questions to set things straight. Shall I continue?"

Regina kept quiet as she didn't have a choice. If she stopped Arabella, people would think that she was the one lying.

"When Luke approached me with his audacious idea, I thought he was either crazy or just plain stupid. But then, he explained the arrangement, so I agreed on the terms. Did I exploit my son? No! Was I greedy? Maybe~ all I wanted was a secure future for my son. Something that I would struggle to give alone. I was just being practical--- all for my son~"

"Whatever you say! It doesn't change the fact that you used your son to lure Luke and marry you!" Regina shouted as she slammed the table.

Arabella smiled.

"You don't get it, don't you?" Arabella told her. "Not everything that happens is the same as what you've experienced. Not everyone is a wolf in sheep's skin. Open your eyes, Regina. Look around you. Look at these people, not everyone wants a piece nor wants to take advantage of you."

Regina started shaking. Every word Arabella said stirred her emotion.

"Whatever your mom did, I am sure she had a reason. "

"Shut the fuck up! You know nothing about me!"

"You are all over the news. Just like you wanted. Just. Like. You. Wanted. Be on the cover page of every famous magazine~ just like what your mom wanted you to be! She must be proud~"

"Don't you ever mention that monster! That woman was never my mother! She never loved me as her daughter. She saw me only as a bank account! You are just like her! You use your child to have money!"

Regina began to cry profusely.

"You are wrong! Your mother never abandoned you. You left her to die. You left her to die alone in that cold dark room~"

"No! Shut up! No! She left me! She sold me to her friend~"

"Regina~," Arabella called to calm her down but she went on, spilling the pain piled up for years.

"Do you know how painful it was to be constantly reminded of how imperfect you are? Regina, you are a loser! I am so unlucky to have you, Regina! My life is ruined because of you! Regina, it's better that you--- die!"

Regina became so hysterical that she kicked the chair and wept on the cold floor. She didn't care about how she looked at that moment. All she could feel was the pain.

She stayed lying on the floor. She looked so pitiful as she cried her heart out until her eyes dried out.

People were shocked by her revelations.

The internet was exploding with subjective judgments or so-called freedom of expression.

Funny how people turned into specialists as they share their "professional" sentiments about the situation.

Arabella went to Regina and helped her stand up. Then, she let her sit down.

"And I am sorry for taking it so long to realize who you are--- I'm sorry for not recognizing you sooner, Amara~," Arabella said in a soft voice as she held her hands firmly.

Regina was confused.

"What?" Regina's voice was shaking.

"I know. I was stunned as you are when I heard it the first time~"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Didn't it occur to you why you don't have any memories when you were five under?"

Regina's face furrowed trying to remember things.

"I looked for you for a long time. I thought you're dead. How wrong I was. I am so sorry," Arabella cried. "It's good to see you again, my dear sister!"
