Something lost

"Let's go over there big sis will buy you some sweets!"

Shortly after beginning to walk out of the alley not content with simply walking beside him Lei Eu-meh had picked him up and held him as if he was a plushie toy. Resting her chest atop his head it would have probably been a blissful moment if they weren't so darn heavy and seemingly being in a rush to carry him around to show of they would act like a pair of hammers that slowly hammered his head down into his neck. His neck was actually starting to grow sore from the experience.

"Heavy…." He whispered to himself, even with his soft words everyone could hear him however and soon barely contained laughter that resulted in chocking sounds and soft giggles filled the area.

Along the way some junior sisters had joined the group and while they have tried to approach him Lei Eu-meh had slapped away any attempts at pinching his cheeks,

"Perhaps this little brother will be the first one in history to die from being crushed by a pair of soft mountains."

"Well she has to show him the only soft part she has."

"There is that other part that is big and soft as-well"

"True she could probably give birth to a whole clan with that body of hers."

"Yes, yes it's just so sad that no one wants her."

"I heard many liked her at first but then when she showed her true colors she'd scare even the most valiant of heroes to tears."

"Yeah that's why she has to catch such a young cutie, I bet he'll grow into quite the heartthrob."

"Heh, just look at her such an old cow looking to eat young grass."

"Haha she'll be an ancient cow before she can eat that grass just look at him he's barely a sprout yet."

The girls twittered while giggling amongst themselves. Fed up with their mocking words Lei Eu-meh stomped the ground hard which made crack run across the hard ground while everyone except the group of people in purple robes looked at her with a horrified expression.

Perhaps realizing that they hadn't exactly been subtle in their mud tossing and the simple fact that the one they were talking about was right next to them she was also known as the sects famously unreasonable and violent tyrannosaurus. They shrunk their heads and looked hesitantly at her ready to run away at a the smallest sign of danger.

With steam coming out of her head she truly wanted to rip these trash talking junior sisters of hers to pieces, as tears started to build up because of her resignation. A small hand started to tap on.her arm gently.

'Oh he's trying to comfort me..' Unable to see his face but understanding he wanted to comfort her she could only hug him tighter which made him tap her even more.

Richards thoughts were however somethings else entirely.

'Can't…breath…please…let…me…go' With her rising anger she had unconsciously started to squeeze him tighter which was making it hard for him to breath so to make her loosen her grip he decided to tap on her to let him go. For some reason it only had the opposite effect which made him tap more franticly until darkness filled his vision and lulled him into oblivion.

Awakening sometime later Richard found himself unable to move at all, observing his situation he noticed that he had been tightly tied to a chair in a plaza filled with a bunch of kids giving him a weird look.

Right next to him he could see the woman called Lei Eu-meh standing at attention and glaring at anyone looking at them which made everyone flinch and look away until curiosity drew them back to glance at them.

"Oh your awake I am sorry for tying you up but I just didn't want you not fall down while asleep…also I apologize for hugging you to tightly…I forgot you haven't even started your road to cultivation and used a bit to much strength…I was just to hap…" Lei Eu-meh told him with a voice that eventually turned close to a mosquitos buzzing, while a shade of red filled her cheeks.

"I also thought you'd want to become my junior brother so I decided to arbitrarily bring you here for the testing…I-I really hope you'll join the sect."

Staring at her for a second and taking in her words. It became obvious from the skills she had shown with all of them being closely related to the storm element, her words and all the children lining up that she was a part of the thundercloud sect.

Nodding his head and looking at the line with expectations.

Releasing him from the ropes she gave him a big smile before telling him that she had to go and join the others to help with the tests.

Felling as if something had been lost during his unconsciousness he decided to pat himself down to see if something had been lost but nothing seemed to be missing.

'But wasn't the testing suppose to be the day after, was I really out of it for a whole day?' Seeing as he couldn't find what it was that made him uncomfortable he could only decided to put it at the back of his head for the moment.

Right now the most important part was to pass the test, as long as it was not a test only involving physical prowess he was over ninety percent sure to pass any test they would throw his way.

For the first test they simply felt his hand a bit and said his bone age was ten which was a pass, he could only guess they somehow could tell a persons age by touching their bones.

The second test on the other hand had most of the previously seen junior brother and sisters of that woman that gave him a creepy feeling, touch the foreheads of the gathered children and then saying that they pass or fail before they moved further along to the next test.

Was this a way to test their mental prowess? Then there was no way for him to lose.

One of the men who had previously laughed at Lei Eu-meh touched his forehead before giving him a look of pity.

"Fail"
