Chapter 1

When I woke up I was curled up in a bed. I looked around the room it consisted of a desk, a wardrobe, and a chair. The room had off-white walls with simple brown boarders. The bed I was in had a plain white blanket and a simple headboard. ' Where am I the last thing I remember was those hum… no a human and a demon talking about me' I thought while looking around the room. Trying to figure out whose room I was in, when I smelled the smell of sulfur and ash residue coming from the desk chair. 'I'm in the demons room,' I thought, 'If he is truly a demon he will be able to figure out what I am. I've got to get out of here!' jumping off the bed I head toward the closed door when a thought hit me making me pause 'hmm… how am I supposed to open the door if I'm a cat?' I thought. When an afterthought hit me 'once I'm out of this room I can leave but if I get out of the room with no logical explanation they'll be questions which will be a problem'. Lying down I stated organizing my thoughts 'I need to contact Black or Mist but I can't do that unless they contacts me or I contact them outside. I could call Coal or Fog even if I'm inside but I don't want them to get caught by the humans or the demon, Hmm what to do,' standing up I came to the solution 'looks like I've got no choice I'm going to have to call Coal, since Coal can get me out and protect himself.' Walking the rest of the way to the door a sat down and rolled my head back and mewed "Meow mew, mew Meow" 'now to wait for the….' I thought but was cut off by two sharp barks "I'm coming" "please don't alert anyone "I replied "alright" came with the answering howl. With that done I looked around and thought 'now to make sure they won't notice my absent right away 3 minutes latter the door opens I look behind me too see a big black dog. "Coal" I purred happily walking over to the dog I rubbed against his leg. Coal licked my ear to respond "I need to leave," he growled, "something's coming; you need to do whatever you need to do and find a way to make the door not completely shut all the way, or a least allow you escape when needed." "Alright, Bye Coal" I purred watching Coal leave. I got to work making a crevice in the framework, and door. 'Puurfect' I thought squeezing in and out without much trouble.
