Chapter 5 Lex

Lex walked into the bar, of course for some beer after work. He works many hours each day, every second of it causing him to be drench in sweat from the hard work, but because of this King of his, he doesn't get paid much. He hates his King, and wishes to move to the only land that isn't ruled by his King, Skyland. There he would be pay what he needed. What he wanted. What he deserves.

He walked up to the bar and order his drink. He scan the room for any familiar faces. He spotted a man who hated the Ling as much as he did. His name was David and he was a lot older than him, but still they were pretty close because of their shared hatred of their kingdom.

He grabbed his drink that was placed in front of him, and headed for the table where David was sitting. He was in the dark corner of the room, where he liked best since it was less crowded.

Lex slipped into the booth with David. David nodded his greeting to Lex and took a long sip from his cup.

"How you been?" Lex asked the man.

"As good as I can be in this shitty place," David scuffed.

"Agreed, agreed."

They sat in silence, drinking occasionally from their cups.

"I wished someone would do something about this damn King," Lex explained.

David starred at Lex as if he was looking for something inside of him. Lex starred back and narrowed his eyes in all seriousness. He wanted someone to try and stop their monster of a king.

"I will tell you something, but you must promise to not tell anyone else. Got it?"

Shocked by his sudden serious tone, Lex replied, "Yes..."

"I'm one of the main leaders of a revolution against the Arden Kingdom. I can see your seriousness of wanting the King gone from our country. If you join you can't tell anyone about it, of course you won't let anyone know. So, Lex, will you join the RA Revolution?"

Lex didn't have to even think about it long. He knew he wanted to do this. He wouldn't tell anyone, nor would he let anyone know where he is. He never found a wife, of course he never had children, his mother died, his father left him for Skyland as soon as he had the chance. He was alone. No one cared about him.

Lex looked pretty young for his age, he had a baby face. He was built with a slim body, a little bit of muscle could be see through his shirt. Some men was jealous of him, they wonder how he never got any girls. Lex knee why though. He was awkward around girls, and he never knew what to say.

"I would love to join," Lex smiles.

David smiles to himself, "Good. Now, tomorrow, meet me here and I will bring you to your first meeting."

Lex nodded his head in agreement. He couldn't wait. He was to be in something big! There was a chance he could do what he always dreamed of. He could kill the king or, at least, be apart of the group that kills him.

How he long to kill the king with his own two hands. He wished to drive his sword into the fat body of that damn King. His hatred fueled him, drove him to kill.

He couldn't hold him his urge. After he left the bar, half drunk, he walked along the barely lit streets. He could hear the guards ahead of him, patrolling the streets.

He heard them laugh at a women's scream. He pulled his hood over his head to block out the chilly wind. He placed his hands in his pockets, his right curling around his knife for comfort.

He flinched at the sound of the women screaming. Lex was loosing it. He had to kill, his hatred was boiling over him. It was the King's army terrorizing this poor women on the street. They are probably going to rape her if no one does anything. No one every does.

No one would go against the King.

Wait. He's going against the King. He is now apart of the RA Revolution. He could do something.

He tighten his grip around his knife, feeling the blade slice into his skin. The pain reminded him to clear his mind. He needed to stay calm in this situation.

He pulled his right hand out of his pocket as he turn down the alley. The alley echoed with the sounds of the crying women, the laughter of the men, and the sounds of them thrusting into her. They didn't hear him approaching.

He used his big hands to cover the second soldier's mouth. The first man, still enjoying banging the women, didn't notice his comrade missing from his side.

Lex took the knife and slid it across the soldiers bare throat. Blood squirt onto the back of the man and women, covering them and the wall next to them.

The other man turned around to face him. Lex had already grabbed his arm and pinned him and the women against the wall. He was going to take his time with this one.

First he cut the man's penis off. It fell, with a loud thump, on the ground by the feet. Lex pulled the man back so that the women could escape. That she did, she ran for her life out of the alley, she never looked back at her savor. Lex didn't blame her for that.

He decided it was time to end the screaming pig's life now. He was tired of it's yelling. He braced the man against him as he plunged the knife into the soldiers exposed collarbone. He slit the knife up along the man's knife. Lex watched in pleasure as the blood sprayed on the wall in front of him, creating a marvelous art work.

He turn to walk out of the alley but a voice stopped him.

"Good job, Alex," the voice sang. "You passed the test."

He felt a sharp sting in his neck, and then he was unconscious, laying on the cold, wet, alley floor.
