At one place, an accident on a rainy night turned a high school graduate, Mu Lihai's life upside down. He was sent abroad in order to help him recover from the memories of that day and his head was filled with nothing but guilt, believing that he had killed someone and become a murderer.

On another place, Li Yao was devastated. Her mother had died on an unprecedented accident and she didn't know what really happened on that day. Her life wasn't the same anymore and she lived with nothing but hatred. Hatred towards the person who hit her mother with his car and hatred towards her relatives who never got past arm's length but wanted to covet her parents' wealth.

What would happen if fate decided to play the two as main characters of their story? And what would become of them as they crossed path and were unknowingly attracted with the other on the first sight? 

They confessed and followed their heart. 

But as one day.. she got to know the truth, would her love stay or stray?

Once he became aware of his own sin towards the woman he loved, would he choose to just let go or to hold tight?

The alteration was administered over and over again to make sure there was no relapse in the brain activity. It was so that the new input of false memories could be treated as 'reality'. And the real 'reality' was put away, into the deepest part of subconsciousness. Never to be awaken again.

During the input of false memories, the same team of scientists received a word from their boss, also their queen of underworld.

She told them that Mu Lihai shouldn't die. It would pose her so much work to handle if he ever died. She gave them permission to use the newly built alteration machine that was still in the prototype series.

She later gave them what kind of situations, memories and stories for them to put inside the machine. Creating a brand new reality for Mu Lihai to suck in.
