Trust Matter

Riana stood in front of the telephone. Holding Jerry's identity card given to them.

She was quite hesitant to call for a moment. But the problems he faces regarding his beloved brother cannot stop him.

"Okay, no doubt."

Finally, Riana dialed the telephone number listed. Although Riana doesn't know where the number will connect to, is it directly to Jerry or to someone that must be passed before Jerry?

Riana breathed a sigh of relief because it is Jerry who took the call.

"Hello, Jerry. It's me, Riana. "

Jerry is like the time when Riana met him, behaving like an adult who thinks of you as his own younger sibling.

"I am fine. How about you?"

Apart from Jerry's voice, there were some people who seemed to be nearby.

Jerry sounds moving to another place.

Maybe he was hanging out with his friends that afternoon.

That made Riana feel guilty for disturbing him.

"Um, I'm sorry, it looks like I called you at the wrong time."

Even though that being said, Riana's small, soft heart still felt guilty. But Riana could not withdraw her intention because Jerry had given her a chance.

"This is about Mas."

Jerry sounds more serious than before. Because Riana spoke in a worried tone, it must have had a direct effect on him.

"Not a big problem. But, four days back, Mas always returned home with wounds on his body. This has never happened before. So I'm afraid that if anything happens to him."

That sounded new to Jerry.

In a backyard of a tall building, Jerry sat in a lawn chair. Listen to Riana who is contacting him via the wireless earphones that Jerry is wearing in his right ear.

Riana's concern about Rio did sound strange. As far as Jerry knows, Rio asked for permission to take a week off to Unity because of his unstable condition.

If Rio always comes home full of injuries for the past four days, that means he is fighting without anyone know

At least that's the only possibility Jerry can think of.

Even so he couldn't tell that to a girl who was worried right now.

It doesn't sound convincing enough. But that's the only reason Jerry can give. He even intentionally involved himself to cover up his comrade's mistakes.

If that's the case Riana can't ask more. At least Jerry can calm her feelings a little.

"I see. Then I'm okay now. Thanks for picking up the phone, Jerry."

"That's a relief. Thank you, then. Bye-bye."

Riana hung up the phone.

Jerry heaved a sigh of relief because he was so unaccustomed to lying.

When his mind is still sensitive, someone comes from behind.

"Giving false information is a crime, Jerry."

"Wa -!"

Jerry immediately looked back and found his best friend, Tom D'claire, caught him violating the knight's code of ethics.

"No! This isn't what you think!"

Without Jerry explaining, Tom already knew. Jerry did it because he had to. Tom just wants to bully his best friend, who can sometimes overreact. to something usual

Back to Riana who is now sitting in the living room. Overlooking at the tv that doesn't turn on.

Some things lately disturb her mind. Of course what bothered her the most was her beloved brother's bad condition.

Bad in the sense that his appearance looks getting worse day by day.

In the four days back in the morning, Riana always found her brother getting new wounds on several parts of his body. Whether it's a bruise or due to incision.

Every time Riana asks Rio always answers, "I'm fine.", With a sincere smile that Riana cannot refuse.

Conversation with Jerry also did not have such a good effect on her. Because Riana knew that Rio did not participate in a battle for the past four days.

Rio's E-points have not changed since Rio and Jerry returned together.

Some possibilities which were made Riana worried appeared. Like her beloved brother gets injustice somehow.

Those things continued to haunt Riana's mind and made her could not focus on activities.

[Seven Night in Hell][Status: In Progress]

[Progress: Fifth Night][Goal: Survive the Darkness in One Hour]

[City of Lost Grace, Fortress of the Giant]

In one of the towers a war fortress. An explosion occurred because something hit and destroyed the tower wall.

Giant type Arcdemon. Has a body three times the size of an ordinary human. With a stocky body like a two-legged bull. The weapons they use are mostly heavy weapons such as the mace morning star, or a large two-handed sword.

Some of the giant type Arcdemon are chasing prey that has infiltrated and killed many of their subordinates.

Something, or someone they are chasing after is none other than Rio. About 50 minutes ago he was thrown into that world of darkness by Cain.

He had tried so hard to hide as usual. But the number of Arcdemon soldier types is quite a lot to be able to find out his whereabouts.

After eliminating all the chasing type Arcdemon soldiers, now he gotten chased by the giants who were included in the High-class category, and there are a lot of them.

His breath has started to run out. He could not fight them all to defend himself. Forget about beating one, surviving for five minutes fighting one of them alone is already a miracle.

Because of that Rio only had the intention to escape even though it was a cowardly act. What's most important for him now is survival. After all, he was not willing to be thrown into that world.

But when the escape plan went quite smoothly, boom, a giant High-class Arcdemon found him.

Arcdemon immediately raised the mace in his right hand. Instantly intend to finish off Rio.

Rio had no choice but to defend. His Dignity Weapon was used as a shield. He closed his eyes, and he held his breath to resist the attack.

A few seconds passed but the attack never came.

Rio finally opened his eyes to see the situation. His eyes were open and he found himself in a defensive pose in front of a homeless person in one of the darkest alleys in the District.

Rio and the homeless both blinked repeatedly. For a moment did not believe what they saw.

Regardless of the comments from the homeless Rio immediately walked quickly out of that awkward situation.

When he was far enough from the darkest alley in dunno what district, he stopped to squat for a while. Take a deep breath and calm his mind.

"Check status objective."

[Seven Night in Hell][Status: Progress]

[Progress: Fifth Night]

[Goal: Survive the Darkness in One Hour][Status: Completed]

It has been proven that he managed to escape alive from hell on the fifth night.

Rio's deeper and stronger breath exhales.

"Haaahhh! Two more nights in hell, don't wanna!"

After spending five nights in hell, Rio did feel that he had become stronger. But still, it felt very bad to fight at enemy headquarters alone.

"Plus doing this mission doesn't give me any reward. So there is absolutely no motivation to do it. Whereas in neighboring stories, those who suffer the same fate as me are more spoiled by the system they have."

Sitting with his body resting with his hands on the side of the road, Rio began to babble. All the things that happened to him for a week or less made him frustrated. Moreover, he did not get any prize for all his hard work.

"But at least, this broken sword has turned into a powerful creation."

Rio looked at the handle of his Dignity Weapon which had completely turned bright red. Like a burning fire that blends in the iron.

When Rio was pondering what he would do next, an explosion came from the left. Precisely located in one of the district locations that Rio believes in District 5.

Rio was tired from fighting non-stop for an hour in hell. But the sound of the battle aroused his spirits to get back on his feet.

"At least I want to see how things are?"
