Silver Fang's Immortal Skill

After exclaiming, Céline runs up to him and slowly reach out with her hands towards the armor.

"It really is the Platinum Armor, but why does its color look different?" Seeing that huge metal head sticking close to him, inspecting every corner of his armor, Rick was little uncomfortable.

"Er, can you stop being so close?"

"Huh? I'm sorry!" Realizing her lack of manners, Céline swiftly moved away from him. Seeing she was staring at the meat on the stick next to the fire, he noticed some sort of melancholy, regret and even a bit of hatred.

"I need to return to the City, I have work to do. I will return soon, when you are feeling better." Bidding farewell to the woman, Rick pecked his things and followed the path down the mountain, heading to the capital when he noticed a powerful presence following right behind him.

A single palm was shot at him so fast that it was impossible to dodge, but the reaction speed, agility and thought speed the armor gave him enable him to find the easiest way to take the blow while suffering the least damage.

Bang! When the luminous palm hit him, the armor took much of the power, while the rest of it was mostly redirected towards his back, blowing away the trees in a range of several hundred meters causing innumerable beasts to flee the second they felt such strong power in the forests.

"Shit! This guy is a pain in the ass in and I still don't see any trace of him other than intense killing intent." Rick dashed to the south, increasing the distance between the battle and Céline who was hiding in the Village of the Darkmoon wolves.

Shortly after, a second and a third icy flame palms managed to hit different points of his armor, making small cracks start to appear.

"Come! Follow me!" Shouting angrily to the source of the attacks. Blood gushed out of the armor's back and transformed into a pair of wings before the blood-armored figure flew even farther away.

"Not we are distant enough." Assuring himself it was better to fight now, the center of his hand shot a ball of blood that merged with his fingers and formed a long sword which he used to slash upwards.

"Slash!" Bloody light traveled across the sky as a blood angel and a red-blue shadow fought in the sky bring desolation to the lands below. Rick made the shadow follow him to a desolate island in the far south of the kingdom.

"Ahhhhh!" Like a mindless beast, the shadow roared as it advanced on him, this time Rick blocked his fists with perfect accuracy and managed to hit a kick on him. At the same time he also managed to confirm something.

"As I thought, my opponent is a human." Rick was fully sure the Saint attacking him was a human. However, inspecting the claw marks left on his breast plate also made it a bit hard to confirm.

"His right and left arm has been exchanged with a beast's." This man didn't know the wisdom and intellect a human or even a beast should have, the way his attacks were made was more likely he's just a puppet for somebody else's purposes.

Swoosh! Appearing on the top of a tree was the saint that has been following him. Like Rick guessed his right arm was icy blue with an ice claw while his other arm was made of some sort of black stone overflowing with magma. However, the most surprising thing was neither his arms or the power he possesses, it was the face of the man that surprised him.

"Liam? How is he so old and what is happening here?" Despite being his blonde hair having lost its shine and his face looking a lot older, there was no way he won't recognize this man.

Being as surprised as he was, Rick could even think clearly as many questions appeared on his heart and he felt things could have been much worse than he could have imagined.

"Roar!" Being startled this much, Rick gave more than enough time for the shadow to attack him. Its right fist suddenly appeared half a meter away from Rick, who could not defend against an attack infused with the whole power of a saint.

Smash! The moment the fist touched the blood armor, it was like a hammer meeting a wall of glass, easily smashing into pieces as the man inside was shot into a huge rock a hundred meters away.

"Fuck!" With his blood dripping down the rock, Rick felt his mind waver as he felt intense pain coming from the center of his chest, the piece of crystal within his body.

Standing on a cloud of fire, Liam approached him, his both arms gathering a huge amount of fire and water as it prepared to launch its final attack.

Both the water and fire merged with the sky, as a huge icy sun hanged above the skies and formed a huge pillar of water and fire that swallowed both Roderick and the whole island.

Shiiiiiirk!

The whole island which was no smaller than Eden's northern sector has been fully obliterated by that mass of icy fire.

Plop! Far away, a silver-armored woman appeared in the air, carrying a blood-haired youth on her arm. "You haven't even mastered your armor and is risking your life in battles of this level?"

"How should I know he could unleash such a powerful elemental art? Luckily I had recovered from my injuries in time or we won't have this discussion right now." Facing Céline's scolding tone, Roderick felt a gush of fire on his stomach. Having only a two-thousand years old woman teach him how to fight was truly infuriating.

"Shut up, I knew what I was doing." Roderick was sulking, but his way of acting only made Céline laugh faintly.

"Pfft, okay then. I" Céline decided to not bicker with him as she turned her gaze to to Liam, before she asked Roderick. "I suppose that one is an acquaintance of yours?"

"Yes, but he seems to being controlled by someone else. The way the body parts of beasts have been implanted in his body were what made him that powerful, I have seen it once."

"I see, I think I can release him from the mind control."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm detecting strange signals interacting with his brain. But first we need to knock him unconscious before I find a way to break what is controlling him. Stay back." Putting Roderick on a neat piece of land, Céline.

Her silver armor reflecting the moonlight above the sea, the Immortal Armor started to fade bit by bit before it turned into nothing more than a illusory figure as she held a pair of silver daggers.

"Silver Fang's Immortal Skill: Mirage Fang." As she uttered these words, her entire body vanished like she was covered by the moonlight, turning into a mirage.

"Roar! Grrrr!" Her body appeared and reappeared, and no matter how many blows Liam sent, none of them could even get closer as she would cut through tall his moves.

"Slash!" Aiming at a single strand of light connected to Liam's head, she slashed downwards, cutting the string and making the man fall unconscious shortly after.
