Movement in the World Pt5. World Government (5/7)

I haven't translated for a long time, I hope I'm not too rusty (which is very likely T.T)

Here is the first chapter of the week. To resume the habit, I will start publishing two chapters a week (max).

This is the classic chapter of the Five Elders. Easy to write (90% dialogue) but always present in my volumes (maximum one or two chapters in the whole volume, as always).

The highest grades of the World Government, the five Elders, were holding a meeting with each other to discuss the great changes the world will see shortly.

These major changes were entirely due to two entities, Asdrerd and the Color Criminal.

𝐂𝐚𝐩: "The future of this world will depend on our meeting today. We have many things to discuss and I would like to know your opinion on each topic."

The remaining four remained silent.

They had spent many years together and the Cap knew that this was the time to start the meeting.

𝐂𝐚𝐩: "First we have to look for a new member for the Shichibukai. Currently, the members are Boa Hancock, Gekko Moria, Crocodile, Drakul Mihawk, Jinbe, Doflamingo, and Asdrerd."

A few seconds of silence passed. Shortly afterward, the Cap began to speak again.

"Asdrerd is still a member of the Shichibukai, but only in name. Her majesty Imu has other plans for him. As a result, the fighting strength of the organization has drastically decreased."

𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐝 & 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞: "Mh... A person who is part of the Shichibukai but not officially."

𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐝: "Exactly! We cannot break the balance. We absolutely cannot use 8 members for the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

The four elders looked at the Four-Eyes, waiting for his answer. They knew he was the only one who would try to reject the proposal.

Despite saying this, the four-eyed was thinking a lot about Asdrerd. Since meeting him, he could no longer trust his power. He had never failed in the past! When he heard lies in others' speeches, he always managed to bring up the truth. Now he did not know how to deal with Asdrerd.

Many speeches of this young man seemed true and others false. When he sensed falsehoods, Asdrerd proved with the facts that he was telling the truth, as with his power to be able to see the future or with the fact of not being the Color Criminal.

He had not become a friend of Asdrerd and did not completely trust him, but he was no longer sure he could treat him as a threat.

After all, Asdrerd has already made many contributions to the World Government...

Not to mention her majesty Imu. After meeting with Asdrerd, she had summoned the Five Elders and revealed that the boy would bring prosperity to the entire world government. The boy had to be protected. After hearing this, he had begun to doubt his ability.

𝐂𝐚𝐩: Well, since we agree, I would say to proceed with the second topic of the meeting.

𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐝: "I understand that it is better to look for him now that he is injured, but I don't understand your nervousness."

𝐂𝐚𝐩: The Sobrix family started to move.

𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐝 & 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞: I understand, but don't worry; they still have to respect our rules. We knew that eventually they would complain.

𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓𝑬𝒚𝒆𝒔: Something else disturbs you. Right?

𝐂𝐚𝐩: Unfortunately, yes. The Stars family met many times with the Sobrix family. The Stars have decided to betray the government.

𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓𝑬𝒚𝒆𝒔: ::O Did it happen because of Carol and Larry?

The five elders knew that many nobles were looking for King Asdrerd for a union through marriage so that they could enter the graces of the government. Obviously, other people were looking for the two.

𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐝: "These two are breaking the balance of the world. We can't allow this."

𝐂𝐚𝐩: We have to act. Her Majesty Imu has already given permission. Even if it is sudden, we must implement our plan."

𝐂𝐚𝐩: "We have to notify Sengoku and the various CPs. The new era is near!"

The Cap thought about it for a few seconds before shaking his head. He was thinking about Asdrerd's power. By now, he was convinced that the boy could see over time. Besides, the old man had begun to understand Asdrerd's character.

He knew that Asdrerd was a lazy boy and that he would not move if he did not see a good result of any plan.

Once his thought had been formulated, he said not to warn the Shichibukai, that it was better to leave her in ignorance, and then illustrated what she had thought about Asdrerd.
