Strange Island

When they jumped on the boat, they almost fell off, the boat was very unbalanced. The wood felt mouldy and a bit wet; the boat had a white sail. They had to duck each time they would change the sail because the sail was very short. Eventually, the boat got so far away from the beach, that they could not see the beach. They started sailing in the general direction of Blue City.

Jake with his predator's eyes skill activated and Rudolf with his heat vision skill, they tried to scout the path in front of them. The darkness felt heavy like it was a liquid pressing down on them. They could not see anything outside the boat, actually, they could almost not see the boat.

They saw nothing, and all they heard was the waves crashing against each other. This kept on happening for hours on end, eventually, their tiredness got the best of them and they fell asleep. The boat kept on moving.

They woke up to a clear blue sky. The air was still, and the boat was floating. As Jake looked up he saw an Island in the distance. The boat was slowly floating towards the island; Rudolf shortly woke up after and also saw the island.

The boat crashed on the island since they could not leave the island yet they decided to explore it. The Island had a white beach on the end, around them there was multiple planks or ship remains. The Island was filled with tall trees. They walked further into the Island then suddenly they saw tracks.

The tracks looked fresh and human, it looked as if multiple people had walked in a line. 'Had other people crashed on this island?' Jake thought. They opted towards following the tracks, the tracks turned into dirt roads, then they saw black smoke in the air. They kept on following the tracks when they smelled something weird. They saw the people at the camp but they did not see them back, they decided to hide.

There were multiple people standing around a fire chanting some sort of song, they were dancing around the fire. They had simple clothing on them, it was caveman-like clothing. On top of the fire, there were two humans who had been tied up. Their skin was cracked and dry, the eyes were gouged out. Their stomachs had been cut with their guts sticking out, their feet were black.

They had been burnt alive.

Suddenly, in the distance, they heard muffled screaming. There were two men carrying a woman who was tied to a stick, they had a pleased expression on their faces. They walked to the fire and put the woman on it. Jake and Rudolf heard the muffled screams from the woman.

They decided that introducing themselves to the islanders was a dumb idea. They silently ran away from the camp. At this point, they wanted to escape this island. However, there were few problems, they needed food or else they would starve to death, they did not know where they were, they did not know if their boat was still intact. What they needed right now as shelter, and they knew this which is why they decided to go and search for it.

They kept on moving away from the camp in order to find shelter. As they walked over a hill, there were two warriors standing in front of them. They let out a shout the second they saw Jake and Rudolf, shortly after one got beheaded and the other got an arrow straight through his heart. Jake and Rudolf started running the other reinforcements came.

They stopped running when they thought that they had gotten away. They kept on searching for a place to sleep, then they found it. On a hill on the top side, there was a weird cave that descended. After scouting the cave and making sure it was safe, they decided to make it their base of operations for the time being. They had to find a way of this island if they did want to end up like burnt corpses.

Now that they had a base, they needed to find food. They exited their base and went on a hunt for some sort of food.

The sub-leader of the islanders had heard the war cry and made his way towards the scene. When he found the two men dead on the ground. Saliva almost dripped out of his mouth, his eyes widened and he looked ahead into the forest. Then, he looked at his squadron and said, "It's hunting season" before letting out a cruel laugh.
