My Girlfriend’s Dad: Part 2

Police integrations aren't fun. The sense of relief I felt when I saw him unconscious in the ambulance were surreal. I was handcuffed and Jackie wouldn't look at me. I nearly cried seeing my sister leave with a social worker. Olive waved goodbye as I left, I wanted to break down. I wanted to know where she would go, I spent six to eight years of my life trying to protect her and as for the other eleven years… it was spent trying to protect my mother.

I stared at the camera as I fiddled with my thumbs.

The detective came back with a cup of water "Here."

"Thanks", I replied in a monotone tone.

The detective nodded "Your father is in the hospital right now, and he's not expected to live", the detective spoke in a solemn tone.

"Good", I spoke while crossing my arms.

The detective tapped his pen on the table "So you have no remorse after what you've done."

"All I did was protect myself and my baby sister!", I yelled.

"No. You dragged an 18 year old girl into this!", he yelled at me.

I sighed "At least she has daddies money to bail her out."

The detective scoffed "How was stabbing him going to protect you and your sister?"

"Gee… I don't know, maybe because he beats a five year old in a drunken rage… maybe because the police turns a blind eye to idealize a former NFL quarterback with a drinking problem."

The detective scoffed once again "Don't be a smart ass with me kid."

"Maybe, it's the irritation for being here away from my sister for twelve hours, but I told you everything I could possibly tell you, detective."

He sighed "Call me Detective Hofferman, detective Kevin Hofferman."

He handed me his card and un-cuffed my hands "We can arrest you at anytime, but for now you're free to go."

Before he left the room, he looked at me.

"What is your father's name by the way?", he asked.

"Adler Dawson", I spoke.

He looked at me in disbelief "Oh."

I sighed as I finally followed him out. He pointed me in the direction of the door and walked past every detective with my head down. When I finally made it out of the building I kicked an empty soda can into the middle of the street. As I began walking home, I realized I had no home to go back to.

I reached for my wallet in my back pocket, I sighed out of relief seeing that I kept my leftover cash in my wallet. With my car being an hour away and my house being somewhat of a crime scene I walked five minutes to the nearest hotel.

Everything felt like a fever dream, the walk to the hotel was quiet, but my thoughts were loud.

My phone was nearly dead, so a hotel was the best option for the remainder of the night, maybe for week.

I finally walked slightly uphill towards the inn.

I missed my sister, I missed her voice, she reminded me so much of mom.

I entered the lobby and reached for my wallet "Cash or Card?", an old black man had asked with a raspy voice.

"Uh, Cash… for a week", I responded.

"Ah, just visiting?", he asked.

I looked up at him as I gathered my cash "No, just family trouble."

The man nodded "Oh! My bad sir, I forgot to ask for ID."

I gladly tossed him my ID.

He grabbed it and glanced at it closely "You know, you look a little young so-"

"Dawson… Dawson… as in the quarterback that plays for the-"

I sighed "Yeah. He's my Dad, I guess Dawson is an unusual last name in this area huh?"

The man chuckled "I used to go to school with him a while back, he was cool. Very uh… cool!"

"Uh-huh", I nodded as I started to dissociate.

"Hey, uh… the room is free, stay as long as you need", the man spoke.

I grabbed my ID as he handed it back "No, I insist on paying", I spoke.

I put the cash down on the counter.

He pushed it away "I owed him a favor from back in the day and I'll repay it with this. It's okay, you're good."

I sighed, taking my cash and placing it back in my wallet.

"It's going to be room 374, have a good night kid."

I immediately headed towards the elevator, eagerly waiting for it to open.

I immediately dashed to my room . I closed the door with urgency and then took a deep breath before laying silently on the bed.

I felt depressed, as I dozed off to sleep I was immediately startled by a knock at my door. I let out a wry sigh and opened the door.

"It's been a week, and I-I just wanted to see you… and uh… see if you're doing okay."

Jackie quickly entered the room as I closed the door quietly.

I stared at her as she sat on the bed quietly.

"How did you know I was here?", I spoke almost if I were angry.

"Detective Hofferman said you couldn't go back home, so I did my own detective work and asked the hotel receptionist if you were there and-

"Why are you here?!", I lost my cool.

She looked down at her shoes "I… I don't know."

"Great, then leave", I spoke.

She laughed at me as if I were a joke.

Her smiled faded "Look, I have your sister's address, that's why I came. I was also going to give you a ride to your fucking car but you clearly don't need me or my help."

She threw the card that had my sister's address at me. She marched for the door but as much as I wanted her to go I wanted her to stay.

I grabbed her wrist "I'm sorry… okay. I'm stressed, I won't yell anymore… I promise."

She finally looked me in the eyes, those bright blue eyes gazed into my soul.

She carcassed my cheek before she lifted her hand away from my face. She then slapped the ever loving sh*t out of me.

I stood there in shock, unable to respond.

She immediately pressed her lips onto mine before quickly moving away.

"Don't you ever disrespect me, ever! Above all, don't ever f**king confuse me!"

I grabbed her, and threw her over my shoulder. I threw her on the bed, only because it was the closest thing next to me.

I had tripped on top of her. I immediately apologized and tried to get up. She wrapped her arms around me "Don't let go."

"Are you okay?", I asked.

"I just need someone to hold me right now, is that so wrong?"

I looked at her only briefly before I decided to kiss her, something about vulnerability turned me on.

The kisses became more intense by the moment, but I knew I didn't want to sleep with her from the start.

She pulled away and sat up, she put her hand on my crotch.

I pushed her down with enough force "Let me satisfy you, first."

She nodded as I started at her neck. Her breathing had gotten louder. I removed her purple dress and un-did her bra. I made sure to leave hickeys all over her body. I figured out her body quickly enough. I stimulated her breasts, and followed up with kissing her lips, the ones between her hips.

She arched her back as I went down on her, her moans provided me with the information that I was doing well.

She started to shake all over before letting out a sigh of relief.

She lay silent and exhausted. "Is it okay if I don't satisfy you, tonight?", she asked.

I smiled "It's fine, I'm tired anyway."

"Thank you, that was actually really good", she spoke, panting.

I thanked her as I turned to sleep.

"I actually came here to tell you that any charges by the police were dropped. I also pleaded self-defense and had my charges dropped too."

I glanced at her "Thank you."

"Don't thank me, thank my Dad when you get the chance to."

She kissed me and for some strange reason that night I felt the calmest I had ever felt with her beside me.
