Century Soup

After kicking one of the Elite Ten preventing Azami Nakiri from becoming Headmaster, Lou finally found a quiet life but it's not.

He is now still in Tootsuki doing a bunch of paperwork that he should not be doing at all.

"Erina, why am I doing this again?" Lou asked Erina, who was also doing paperwork beside him and Hisako as their secretary.

"Whose fault do you think all of this is?"

"Is it me?" Lou asked while pointing his face to her.

"Kicking one of the Elite Ten, Changing the Rules hastily, and adding numerous troubles." Erina asked while continuing doing her work.

Hisako who helps them can't help but to cast her eyes on both of them, she knows the two of them are now the highest leadership of the school and also both partners but the way they talk to each other is awkward maybe on Erina's side only.

"Thank you….." Erina suddenly whispered.

Of course, Lou knows why she thanked him.

Azami is the biological father of Erina. When she was young, her father decided to teach her some cooking skills by subjecting Erina to a brutal training regimen.

This included forcing her to compare dishes and then throwing away all the contents of the dishes that were considered inferior.

Azami was not above using physical force to ingrain his doctrine of food into his daughter, if Erina showed any sort of resistance, nor did he have any qualms about cutting her off from the rest of the world.

It was because of this that Senzaemon disowned him and exiled him from the Tōtsuki Culinary Academy.

The abuse that Erina suffered caused her to develop a severe fear of her father, leaving her terrified whenever she was in his presence. Unlike her normally confident and haughty self, she would be completely timid and submissive to her father's actions and requests, even if it is not what she wished to do.

But she did not expect that in front of the darkest time of her life, there's a strand of light entering and illuminating everything.

That time, when Lou suddenly arrived and calmly walked sitting on that chair ordering her to present her dish to him made Erina feel that she saw her savior.

Just looking at Lou eating her dish, the way he talks to her father with his own opinion, the way he looks at her with eyes full of concern, she thought.

'He is not bad at all,' Her thought was only inside her heart.

This simple thought changed everything she saw Lou, maybe her engagement to him is not bad…. The only bad thing about Lou is being a pervert attracting a different kind of butterflies and bees outside.

Just imagining those girls around Lou make Erina's mood become irritated again, she can't help but to kick Lou but he suddenly dodges it.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing, I just want to kick you."

"You're becoming unreasonable again, that's not cute."

"Shut up," She kicked Lou again, making the table shake from her sudden movement.

"Erina-sama, it's time." Hisako reminds them that it's already lunchtime.

Erina looks at the clock and sees that it's already lunchtime so she stops kicking Lou and stands up, of course, she invites Lou to eat.

"It's already lunchtime? Well, I'm fine, I have my lunch box on me," Lou said, taking a simple thermos.

"A coffee for lunch? That's not good for your health, Lou-sama," Hisako advised.

"No it's a soap," Lou said, opening the cap of it.

Instantly, an indescribable aroma explodes inside the Headmaster Room.

Growl!

Both Erina and Hisako's stomachs growl but they did not blush at all, they both looked at the container that Lou's holding.

Lou looked at both of them and smiled, he said," Hisako, can you get me 2 extra cups?"

"Y-Yes!" Hisako Halsey ran and took a cup.

Lou then poured the constant of the thermos.

"Have a taste," he said.

Both of them walk closer and observe the unknown food in front of them.

The first thing they notice is.

"None?"

Erina who carefully look said," Your wrong Hisako, clear like a cloud if you don't look carefully you will notice that the soup barely visible to the naked eye

"Y-Your right, Erina-sama!"

When they lightly touched it, the ripple on the soup did not even appear, they also noticed something.

"It's so heavy, it's only a small spoon of soup, but it weighs more than the spoon itself!"

Just a small cup of soup weighs more than its normal weight.

"The essence of more than a thousand ingredients is concentrated into the soup, and as a result, the weight of the soup has become heavier." Lou calmly said while sipping the soup.

"Thousand ingredients!!" Hisako and Erina were horrified to hear this, but they were both confused about the taste of it. They couldn't imagine the taste of a thousand ingredients combined into one dish.

Finally, Erina and Hisako couldn't bear it any longer, and carefully sip the unknown soup into their mouth.

The moment they drank it, they realized that everything in front of them had changed.

There is no conflict between the tastes of the ingredients, and these thousands of ingredients have been perfectly integrated into a peculiar taste.

Extremely delicious and deeply flavorful, despite its insubstantial appearance. It is described as being an ancient flavor filled with innumerable savory tastes that gradually unravel on the tongue and awaken primitive taste senses that have been sleeping until now.

And the side effect, well Erina and Hisako now both showing inappropriate faces ignorant of Lou, he can't even help but to take a couple of pictures of both of them to save in future if he wants to tease them.
