Chapter 20

Sorry for the late chapter! I had a terrible headache and my eyes were hurting while I wrote this chapter so I had to take breaks every minutes.

Chapter 20 — Little Star Core.

It was night time.

The scorching sun had already set down in the horizon; the half-moon was glowing in a icy color in the sky.

A total of one year had already passed since Yu Long and Fatty had joined the Han Academy.

The two of them were already 7 year old.

In the small green hill that Yu Long use as his cultivation and sculpting spot, Yu Long was currently sitting cross-legged on the cold ground covered in blue grass.

He was currently cultivating.

Yu Long commanded the vast Star Qi wisp scattered on the air.

Huff...

The Star Qi wisp quicky entered throught Yu Long's nose as he breath in.

His face slowly turned pale white as he hold his breath for many seconds.

Sweat slowly formed across his forehead.

Yu Long's pale skin silently hummed as it glowed in crimson and silver.

He cultivated the [Qi Stage] of the [Forbidden Inner Star Art] for tenth cycle.

Haa...

Yu Long let out a white vapor from his mouth as he slowly opened his crimson eyes.

"I have finally reach the complete mastery of the 1st rank [Qi Stage]!" Yu Long exclaimed out happily with a wide smile.

Yu Long sent his will to inspect his internal body.

He saw his scattered Star Spirit Power that glittered inside his Dantian.

It increased in quantity and became more pure.

"I now need to reach the complete mastery the 1st rank of [Body Stage] in order to breakthrough to the 2nd rank of [Forbidden Internal Star Art]."

With that goal in his mind, Yu Long quickly cultivated the [Body Stage].

He was filled of anticipation of what will happened once he breakthrough to the 2nd.

He hope that he will unlocked another page of the mysterious book.

Yu Long closed his eyes and concentrated his whole mind to his surrounding and body.

He felt the vast amount of colorful crimson and silver Star Qi moving in the air.

Yu Long silently opened all of his pores and devoured the vast amount of Star Qi in the air.

Swoosh!!

The Star Qi present in the air quickly rushed toward him liked a hungry kid and was quickly devoured by his pores and nourished his whole cells.

"...!" Yu Long groaned as his forehead formed crease in pain.

He felt every single fibre of his muscle tearing apart and then heal. His whole bones were grinding against each other, and his internal organs were smashing each other.

Although cultivating the [Body Stage] felt nice and pleasant to the body at first, it slowly grew painful as his body got stronger.

Yu Long endured and persisted till he finished doing the 3rd cycle.

Pant!

Yu Long body was drenched in sweat heavily as small amount of black sticky liquid was expelled out from his body.

"Finally! I have reached the complete mastery of both [Qi Stage] and [Body Stage]!" Yu Long grinned happily as he said that.

As Yu Long was about to stand up, his eyes widened widely in pain.

"Argh—!" Yu Long howled painfully.

He felt his whole body was shocked by the heavens lightning as his body burned from inside.

Thud!

Yu Long fell on the ground helplessly. His body was twitching and trembling fiercely.

His crimson eyes were covered in blood with his body glowing brightly in crimson and silver light.

The light was coming from his skin, no—his skeleton!

The red and silver skeleton that had fused with his own skeleton was showing some reaction for the first time.

"Arghh—!" Yu Long felt his throat going sore as he screamed in pain without stopping.

The pain that had suddenly assaulted him was unbearable.

The glow radiating from Yu Long's body slowly grew brighter as time passed.

Yu Long had already stopped screaming in pain. His throat was already extremely sore.

His ears were ringing and his vision gone blurry and dark.

Yu Long just wanted to close his two eyes and not feel the unbearable pain from his body.

He slowly closed his two eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

Although Yu Long was already unconscious, his body was moving by itself.

His skeleton was still glowing brightly without dimming.

Yu Long's black hair fluttered wildly as large amount of Star Qi was being sucked toward his body.

The dense amount of Star Qi rapidly circulated through his whole energy pathway, causing his energy pathway to be more broader, and tougher.

After circulating through his whole energy pathway, the Star Qi entered his Dantian and was assimilate to Yu Long's Star Spirit Power.

The scattered Star Spirit Power then slowly moved toward the center of the Dantian slowly forming a tiny core while receiving the Star Qi from outside.

The tiny core was soon completely formed and it was like a small crimson and silver Star.

Time quickly passed; the sun had already risen above the sky, replacing the moon.

"Ugh—!" Yu Long frowned as he felt a massive headache.

Yu Long slowly stood up from the ground and then he knitted his brows as he felt he somehow got taller overnight.

Then his eyes widened as he felt power coursing through his veins. His body was overflowing with vitality and energy.

"What happened?" Yu Long muttered as he pinched his nose bridge.

He dived deep inside his body and felt a warm energy filling his body.

Yu Long was also suprised to see his energy pathway being more wider and sturdy than before.

Before it was like a stream, now it was a river.

Yu Long then looked inside his dantian and then he saw there was no Star Spirit Power scattered inside, but a small crimson and silver star instead.

The small star was silently revolving, slowly absorbing the Star Qi from the surrounding and was also pumping a liquid Star Spirit Power toward his energy pathway like an heart.

Yu Long was astonished and suprised after seeing the small star and the liquid Star Spirit Power.

If before his Star Spirit power was scattered and messy, now it was more concentrated and organized as it travelled through his pathway so smoothly.

Yu Long then though of a idea as he saw the star inside of him, "Don't tell me.. the forbidden inner star Art is gonna make a miniature star inside of me?"

Yu Long felt his mind was gonna explode after thinking that, but he then felt a hot sensation spreading in his chest.

"Hot—!" Yu Long quickly took out the pendant he wore on his neck.

"A new page!" Yu Long smiled widely as he said that.
