My life changed, within the first few months of finding a place to make huts, we started to plant crops. We created a home, the temperatures were pretty hot and the sun always seemed to be out with barely any breeze and not many clouds. Although all of this is around there seems to be a lot of pools of water. That's where most of the animals were all around.

No matter how friendly people were, it wasn't the same. I knew I wasn't alone but I felt like I was missing something. Have you ever been in a room surrounded by people but still felt alone, because that's how I was most the time. The whole Corey and his sibling filled while we were at the breeding grounds that summer had grown and they no longer filled it all the way. I missed my brother, the people that raised my, Emily, Max. Lucas and his dumb jokes and his smile and laugh, I missed falling asleep knowing what the next day would bring and that I would see all of them when I woke.

I didn't even wake up next to Corey most the time anymore. He was up and out of the hut before I was even awake most the time. He went to sleep late and left early. I'd go to the tribe and help out with things there, but I wasn't happy. I should of went back, I shouldn't of stayed with his tribe. I regret it, most the time at least. The day Corey sleeps in and I wake up next to him or when he comes back early to make breakfast and I wake up to the smell of food and him or at night when we r in bed and he's holding me in his arms. That's the only times I'm truly happy I stayed anymore.

I rarely use my abilities and I do feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders by being here and people knowing, but I don't feel special anymore. A part of me liked being the only one because I had nobody to compete with or compare myself to, but now I'm compared to everyone else not only by myself but by every member of the tribe if they will admit it or not. I feel there eyes on me, and I know they don't trust me. I mean I'm still an outsider and raised by humans not other hybrids, although I'm like them they don't trust me and they all pretend to be nice. I just can see through the fake faces and the acts they put on when I'm around. I'd have to earn there trust which I had been trying to do. I also wouldn't be excepted not truly until they trusted me and made me one of them which was almost impossible to make any progress on since I wasn't one of them in there eyes.

I also had other issues, I wasn't used to the heat since it wouldn't get this hot even in the hottest months where my old tribe was. I also had very fair skin due to it. I was normally inside and there were always clouds in the sky and normally rain at least twice a week and as it got to colder months the sun was only out for a few hours and even within those hours there were clouds covering it. This tribe all had a nature tone and there skin had adapted to constantly having the suns rays hit there skin, so they didn't burn. My skin is very fair since I normally didn't go outside, so being outside even for a little in this heat I was becoming red.

I'm not going to lie I normally try and stay in the shade during the day if I can and not stay around everyone else. I tend to wander off to the few wooded areas to be in the shade. My life decently changed within a few months.

I wasn't the only person that this weather and climate caused issues for though.

My brother had come to visit me at night while Corey and some of the other tribe member were still out on hunting trips. He just wasn't alone. I was so excited when I saw Ian and I ran towards him and hugged him, that's when I saw others. My senses told me they were dragons there were 9 others in human form with him. I invited them all into the hut, so that way we could be in shelter and people wouldn't notice them. All the others were very hesitant I know they could smell the hybrids close by and on me since I was one.

"What brings you all here brother?" I asked

"Were all hungry, hunting hasn't been going well. There's no clouds to hide us and the cattle sees our shadows before we are close enough to attack it's also brought hunters near our old cave we were using as a home. We don't have anywhere to go right now because of that. It's also to dangerous for us to hunt in human form because of other dragons."

"I understand, I will make a few huts for all of you out here with mine. The scent of the hybrids will make it so dragons will be less likely to go after any of you and we can all go out and hunt and we have plants here. I have a little left over from dinner and I can go take some more vegetables from the garden and make a soup so all of you can eat."

"Thank you, but I don't want you to get in trouble with this tribe." Ian said.

"I'll be ok, it's dark and nobody will see me and I will start a new garden over here tomorrow. Also Corey should be back sometime soon, so don't be caught off guard by it and I'd suggest staying inside until I'm back that way nobody will know you are here."

I grabbed a basket and left for the garden. I got some carrots, celery, broccoli, and a few red bell peppers. I had some bird left over from dinner. I got back and went to the nearby stream and got water to make the broth. I got back and chopped up the left over meat and the vegetables and put them into the hot water and made soup. I knew that was the only thing I was going to be able to make for all of them that they could all eat, I also had some bread that I cut up and have each of them a piece. I went outside after making them food and used my abilities to creat four huts. I pulled the energy out of the ground around us. It is much harder to us abilities here as everything might have energy but somethings energy is stronger, such as if something is living its energy is much stronger than that of something that isn't. Trees and plants have more than dirt and rock and I'm mainly working with dirt and rocks. I did my best with wt I was working with. I used stone to build the huts so they were fairly well built and it would take more to knock them down than if it was made of wood it also won't burn when fires go through. Which there are fires pretty often as it was one of the only things I was actually warned about before arriving here.

I got warned about fires, droughts, snakes, and a few other big predictors. Such as a few different types of wild dogs and a few types of big cats as well, there are also some dangerous reptiles and really big snakes and other venomous snakes and spider. Honestly not a fan of a few of the animals out here like at least cats and dogs r pretty and I kinda respect how snakes move and there abilities to be able to keep up with everything but Spiders that for sure where this place went to far. I hate spiders I don't understand beta they are or there purpose because they aren't insects and they aren't pretty, they have hair like mammals do but a bunch of eyes and legs, they r just disgusting to me, I'm not sure what it is about them but I'm not scared of them I just want them to all be dead. Like burn them all to the ground, maybe that's why there are so many fires here. It's the planets way of trying to make them go away. Who knows, but I like my guess.
