May was already outside when we got there. She had bags of stuff already started on her horse and more on the ground. It was more stuff then we had brought with us and we had tents on our horses.

"May, I think we should go through your stuff." I said.

"Why?" She said.

"Well hun how long was your ride here?" Liz asked.

"About 2 days, why?"

"We road 4. You haven't even put your tent on your horse yet and you already have no room." Liz said.

"We understand you are going to a new place where you have nothing but you can get new stuff. You should only bring your essentials to survive. That what we do every time we start to migrate." I said.

"Megan's right we live with only the necessary things to survive because you can't take it with you when die, but you can take your achievements and honor and swords and bows. Not objects like necklaces and fancy dresses which I would suggest wearing anything to fancy for riding."

" I'm not going to be able to have the same type of life I used to have am I?"

"No your not."

"I know it's hard because I had to go through it too, but trust me once you get used to it, then it's as if nothing ever really changed. It feels more natural and you don't worry about who's the best because of what they can own. It's who high ranked off what you are cable of Doing not off what you can buy. It's a lot nicer and everything you will need that you don't have I'm sure Sam will get you once we have returned to your soon to be tribe."

"Ok I guess." May said as she started to take things off her horse. Me and Liz got off and helped her and sorted through things should would need and things she didn't. We didn't make her get ride of all her fancy dresses or jewelry. We just had her not bring as much with her. We were able to get it down to having what she needed in he bags on her horse and one bag that she could carry with her that she could put stuff that she didn't want to part with, but only what she could fit into a single bag since it wasn't things that were necessary for her survival. I knew when we returned she would likely be given the horse I was currently riding since I had another horse that already belonged to me. This horse is gorgeous but it's not mine, and it isn't practical for riding into dangerous areas or battle because of how much it stands out compared to its surrounding and to other normal horses. It's truly part of why I always wondered why they got horses for the head family to ride that were metallic and seem to glow when the light hits them. It makes the head family stand out very easily and easy to spot as targets for attacks. It doesn't seem practical for a tribe that goes to war so easily and frequently.

Even with me I came with nothing except what I had on and Corey got me stuff so that I would have things. We love each other though and choose one another even though I guess at the time we didn't know we would truly love each other as we do now. Sam and May don't even know each other so it's hard to love someone who you don't even know. I'm sure they will hopefully grow to enjoy each other's presence and maybe learn to love one another. You can always hope though.

Things are quit different for people who haven't grown up being in charge of things or even being high up in the ranks because you don't know what your getting yourself into as you move up and you have to relearn everything with each step that you climb on the ladder. Complications are bound to happen at some point because of that and people can only move up so high. How the leaders where determined was always a question to me though, was it the people who were the strongest when everything happened or the people who had already held the most power. We're they voted in since they had just left Democracies. Once you were a leader your children and there children would be leaders and high up members within tribes. At the end of the day I guess it doesn't matter how it happened but it did and now we live by those structures made right after that day. The survivors found a way to live which in the end is truly all that matters. Now there will be a new generation of leaders all coming up. This is my generation we are the first of the generations to of never seen anything of the old world and to of barely heard any stories about if you heard any at all. We are going to be the start of a new era where the old world is left behind in the dust like the rest of its people and structures and the new one shall truly be the future.
