We helped May finish choosing the items she was going to bring with her and what was going to be left behind. We also showed her how to pack all of her stuff so that was it would take up the least amount of room so she could bring more. May wanted to hold onto all of her dresses and jewelry, they reminded me of what I used to wear. Once I went to Coreys tribe, I started wearing dress that cut down lower in the front and were two pieces and cut shorter in the front of the bottom and less of a tail, and is all tighter. It's all for movement sake, having shorts in the front and the skirt being short so you don't have to worry about steeping on it and less layers so your lighter and easier movement if fighting. We also don't wear jewelry all that often and when we do it's normally not anything super big or flashy unlike what I was used to from my old tribe. May would have to adjust like I did, but it wouldn't be an over night thing as sometimes I still miss the big fancy dresses and looking like a princess all the time. Now we just look like worriers or kind of like the prostitutes that were in my village as it was similar stuff that they wore inside the taverns while waiting for work.

We have worn relatively more clothes sincere are here none of them have been complete two pieced and nothing has been very short or shown much out of respect from the other tribe as we know that the lower of there people normally wear similar outfits to our every day clothes. I understand why people would want to wear them though, they are light and breezy which is needed in the desert that we live in, there isn't much wind and it's extremely hot at the place we are calling home for the time being so it's clear why we wear it there, on top of it being easier to do tasks but it also leaves us open to elements and easily burnt if you aren't dark enough in tone and even if you are you can still burn as the rays of the sun always hit you directly. There is pros and cons to what we wear but the good out ways the bad so that's why we do it and why May will have to learn how to make clothes similar to it.

May will have a long way to go before she is ready to fit in with our tribe and we will have to try to be patient with her as much as we can right now so she doesn't get overwhelmed. It's a lot that's about to change for her but we need to focus on the biggest pieces right now. Which will be that she needs to learn how to ride a horse and fight to some extent to be able to defend herself if it ever comes down to that. She will also need to know how to make a weapon and the basics of hunting and skinning animals. She should already know the basics in sowing and cooking but I'm not sure what extent she has knowledge of it and we also know she needs to become a better rider than what she is right now. It will be a struggle for her until she get the hang of it but that will come with time and practice.

Honestly I rarely use my abilities to hunt and fight. I train often now to be a better tracker and fighter but I'm training with my clan, not the tribe and most women's I think the tribe don't hunt or fight unless it's absolutely necessary in which case they need to know the basics and be good enough to potentially defend themselves and children until someone else gets there for reinforcements. It's not likely that a situation like that will occurs but it's also good to know for when your on the road traveling with the herds or if you would get separated to at least know enough to keep yourself alive. I mainly see it as being useful if you are banished as getting separated or being banished are the only times I've truly seen women in a tribe need those skills. Although Coreys tribe is different they still haven't had anything happen that would make me believe that a women truly needs those skills and I've been with them for almost a full cycle now. Years of experience and seeing things have brought me to that conclusion, unless you start talking about a clan in which case women need more than just basics as they can be left on there own for months having to fend for themselves and young depending on the situation.

That's part of why I know how to fight so well and I believe Liz might have dragon in her as well which would also explain her red eyes and why she was taught to such an extent for fighting. I think there father is a high ranking dragon and may even be considered a pure blood and might of married in and raised his children the way a clan would and changed his tribe to work more as if a clan would. I can't prove that though as for some reason I can't figure out there scent because it's being masked by something or was masked by someone at some point within there lives that way a dragon or hybrid or even the hounds wouldn't be able to figure it out. It must of been someone who truly know the magic they were doing and was probably decently powerful and was mainly witch, but people used to breed to bring out witch and dragon. And few of the dragons and witches if the old world were left after that day since it basically created a mass extinction and the few creatures that survived didn't live much long or adapted very quickly to survive. Humans aren't good at adapting quickly in situations like that since they had become so dependent on things doing stuff for them. They fear things they don't understand though which made it easier for them change as fear is a great motivator but they also believe they should be apex predators so they tried to kill of as many witches and dragons as they could. It's just human nature.
