Night fell before we knew it and I joined them for the funeral. I saw people crying and could feel the dark atmosphere, a lot of people died who were young and it was unexpected. All these people had lost other who they cared about or grew up with. People they thought they had longer with.

Corey, Sam, and their father all had two arrows and a bow. There areas would be let on fire and shot at the hut to start the fire.

Obviously as dragons we do this differently as well. All the dragons in the clan transform and breath fire on the fallen it doesn't matter what color fire you have or they had, everyone participates. It often causes a rainbow effect with all the different colors of fire burning in one spot. Obviously humans aren't able to it.

There was one thing that nobody else here knew that I did. I had been back to my clan after we returned because as much as I said I didn't want to know if they had anything to do with what happened my curiosity got the best of me. Except what I came back to wasn't the atmosphere of people who had completed something they had planned. It was a dark and gloomy as it was over at the village, I went to where the sound were coming from and I could smell the blood and the smell of rotting and infected flesh. My heart dropped when I walked in and saw one of our own dying. I know they wouldn't of ever done something that would of out any of our own in danger like this intentionally or without a good reason. The atmosphere told me something wasn't right to begin with. Zack was at her side when I had gotten there and all of them looked as if they had been up for days and had been crying. I didn't know the girl as well as others did but I remember Zack talking about how he liked her and was planning asking her to be his. We were losing one of our own. She likely wouldn't make it through the night and I didn't want to leave but I knew I had to be at the funeral in the other village and I would return right afterwards and everyone understood. If I wasn't there it could put all of us in danger and make them come to find me.

Therefor I stood just as sad as everyone else but for a person who wasn't even dead yet. While they Burned there own people. Liz came to my side and watched with me as they let go of the burning arrows and the hut caught on fire.

The fire burned and I was finally able to leave as others had started to return to there homes.

Before I was able to return home Liz grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"I have my answer, you said I needed to tell you by today and my answer is yes. When do we start?" Liz said.

"We are going to her tribes village right now. So go pack quickly." Corey said.

Liz nodded than ran off to the hut to grab her stuff.

"What's wrong Meg?" Corey asked after Liz had ran off but his father and brother were now at his side.

"One of my own was hurt while we were gone and she's dying and instead of being with my people I'm here." I said as calmly as possible even though it was clear I was very upset.

"Go to them. We will catch up with you later babe." Corey said.

"Coreys right go be with your people and at least get to be by your friends side when she passes." Sam said.

I nodded and ran off. I overheard them as left though.

"So her people really didn't have anything to do with it. They all seem to loyal to out one of there own at risk, since they were loyal enough to follow her all the way here to a strange place in order to make sure they could all protect each other. It would appear I my first impression when we returned was wrong." Coreys father said.

That's all I was able to hear as I got to far away after that. I was going back to my people. She wasn't my friend or my blood. I didn't even know this women but I was sad because it was hurting the people I cared about since they cared for her. I knew Corey would bring Liz over tonight and they would stay in my hut for the night as I didn't want to create a new one just yet and the rest of us would likely all stay together tonight.
