We marched to the mountain leading the way for the others. Sam was behind us with a small army ready to come join us if needed.

Throughout the journey here we had been working with Corey and Liz. It was surprising but Liz was a natural we had all been worried for nothing, on the other hand Corey was struggling a lot more than any of us had thought he would. While Liz was able to control water and make it take forms than make the water freeze, Corey couldn't. He had made no progress he was struggling to even summon the metal we use to make swords. He hadn't ever done it before, but it does required earth and fire magic to do. That may be why only a select few per village actually made weapons.

We road for two weeks before we actually made it to the mountain. Sam and the men he was lead are a 3 or 4 days behind us. Which means we have all been able to freely use our abilities and try to help Liz and Corey with there's.

This was one of the longest migrations the tribe has, it requires going through the mountains and end near the cliffs next to the ocean. We knew it would take at least three weeks if we didn't run into any problems. The main issue was going to be those who were residents on the mountain. They were able to stay in one spot since they could farm year round since during the flooding season they are so high up that the farms lands don't flood but it also doesn't get very cold or hot. It's a perfect spot to be in and they built off the ruins of some buildings from the old world. Everything looked beautiful, and i wish I had more time to take in the views and energy around me. I wish we would of noticed things happening beforehand.

We made it to the mountain and we're over half way up when started smelling something weird. None of us were sure of what it was and we brushed it off as simply being in a different region and new environment. Wouldn't it be nice for it to of been so simple.

Time seemed to go quickly we made it to the top of the mountain almost two weeks after starting up the mountain. This was because we had run into a few issues. It started raining and it caused a mud slid which slowed everything down. The rain didn't let up for days, it gave Liz more time to practice using her magic. She used her abilities to block the rain from hitting us and to dry our clothes and horses and fire wood. It may seem like an easy task but it's all about focusing and gaining stronger control. It wasn't as simply as we thought since normally we used our abilities without thinking about it since we had always done it that way. Liz hadn't and it was all still pretty new for her. We also had a run in with some wildlife that wasn't great. There were wolves and bears all over the mountain.

Setting up camp at the top of the mountain felt like a bunch of relief since we were about half way done with our trip and downhill would be much easier then going up hill more. We hadn't really run in with the people who lived on the mountain though. Which we found kind of weird at driest but with all the rain and mud and rock slides it would make sense that they would be more worried about staying inside and keeping there people safe then risking losing men in a fight for no real reason. Due to the rain Sam and his men were much closer to us since we got hit directly from the mud slide and they did. They camped a few miles away from us a few nights. We could sit and see there fires and sometimes hear them laughing or signing. They simply enjoyed the ride up the mountain for the most part.

We finished setting up camp at the top of the mountain, we choose a spot near a cliff that way we had something to cover the back of the camp and would have less areas to surveil or have a potential attack come from.
