The Passion of Two

For a moment everything seemed to come to a standstill, as Allison blankly stared at Alexander without saying anything. She did eventually speak, albeit in a slightly surprised tone.

" Are you talking to me?"

" Yes, don't tell me you've already forgotten me? We talked a couple of minutes ago, I'm your new neighbor."

" Yeah. Xander, I remember you."

" That's good, I was worried for a second there. So what do you say, need a ride?"

Sort of out of character for her, Allison hesitated, not sure how to respond. She didn't really want to walk all the way to school, but she also couldn't get in a car with a total stranger. It also didn't help that, Alexander was by all accounts a handsome guy. One with an absolutely mesmerizing gaze, which she'd already admitted to loving.

" It's okay, I'm fine walking amd I wouldn't want to bother you. Thanks either way."

At the end, she shook her head and turned him down. Leaving Alexander to take.hia time replying back to her.

" I can assure you it's no bother, I'm actually headed to town right now so I could just drop you off on my way there."

Then just as he finished saying that, and without letting Allison get another word in, he continued.

" Wait, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put you in such an uncomfortable position. You clearly refused and I should respect your answer not ask you again. I'll let you go, again I'm sorry for bothering you."

" No, that's..."

Putting on a dejected face, Alexander lowered his head and started his car. Allison meanwhile felt at odds with herself, as she somehow felt sad for him.

' What do I do? should I say something, if anything?"

Right as Alexander was about to drive off, Allison called out to him to stop.

" Xander, wait."

This time around the earlier conversation with her father became the deciding factor. As she recalled how her father once again prohibited her from doing something.

' It's time I stop doing whatever dad wants and finally do something I want to do.'

With one hand already on the steering wheel, a pleasantly surprised Alexander looked over to Allison.

" Yeah?"

" You're not a weirdo, right?"

" I don't think so?"

" You're making this pretty difficult you know."

" My bad. No I'm not a weirdo, I promise."

" And you're not going to try anything?"

" No?"

" You dont sound all that convincing."

" What can I say, I'm a bad liar. So you can believe me when I say I won't do anything you don't want me to do."

As he said that, Allison looked him right in the eyes only to lament her decision. Since she found it extremely difficult to pay attention to anything else while doing so. At last, she asked the question that Alexander had been waiting for.

" Is your ride offerstill available?"

" Absolutely. Here let me open the door for yo-"

Leaning over to open the passenger door, Alexander, accidentally knocked his bag outside. Thankfully it landed right by Allison's feet, who picked it up for him. Although she was able to see that it was filled with several books. One of which had fallen out of the bag and also subsequently picked up by her.

" The Passion Of Two, By Xander Da Silva. You wrote a book?"

She asked with a perplexed expression on her face.

" Yeah..."

He answered with a completely reddened face while simultaneously trying to dodge her gaze.

" That's nice, what's it about?"

She asked again while giving him the bag but keeping the book on hand.

" I'd rather not say, hey look at the time aren't you going to be late for school?"

Seeing him act so embarrassed Allison felt the need to tease him, so she opened the book to a random page and began to read.

" It was a chilly afternoon as, Hector slowly caressed Sofia's smooth back. She moaned ever so tenderly at his cold touch, yet her eyes were obviously asking for more..."

" Please, stop!"

Alexander loudly yelled out, reaching out towards Allison to retrieve the book from her. While she playfully pulled her hand back and continued reading, to Alexander's dismay.

Interestingly the nervousness Allison had felt moments ago, vanished. She was no longer afraid or scared of Alexander, as she saw a new side of him. One of a young romance novelist, not of a mysterious nextdoor neighbor.

" As they both shared the orgasmic sensation of climax together, their bodies intertwined, they both told each other how much they loved one another..."

" Are you done now?"

Taking a moment to control herself from continuous laughter, Allison nodded albeit with a playful smile. After returning the book to Alexander she also got into his car.

" It's good. Like really good. My favorite line was, '...they both shared the orgasmic sensation of climax together'. That's one of the best lines I think I've ever read."

Allison added while trying to suppress her laughter,(It wasn't working) leading Alexander to change the topic all together.

" So have you ever ridden in an Aston Martin before?"

Hearing his words, Allison closed the book, handed it over to Alexander before getting inside the car.

" No, this is my first time."

" Then I should make it a memorable experience, put on your seatbelt and hold on!"

Trying to get back at her for teasing him, Alexander stepped on the gas hard. The car instantly stormed off, the shift in speed catching Allison completely off guard.

" Oh my, God! We're going too fast! Slow down!"

" Did you just say to go faster!? Okay!"

" No, stop!!!"

She screamed at the top of her lungs, only to then realized they'd stop in the middle of the road.

" Why are you screaming, we're not moving?"

" H-how did we... Weren't we just... What!?"

" You told me to stop, so I did."

When Alexander told her that, Allison closed her eyes, let out a long sigh, and just started laughing.

" Is everything okay?"

" Yeah it is, it's actually amazing. That sense of danger coupled with pure adrenaline, is something I haven't felt in a long time. Thanks for that."

" There aren't any cars around, you wanna go even faster?"

Alexander's suggestion rang inside Allison's head for a few seconds prior to her enthusiastically nodding.

" Yes! Let's go as fast as possible!"

" Heh, you know what, I like your style. Hold on, this is about to get serious."

Tightening his grip on the steering wheel, Alexander glanced over to Allison, wearing the widest and most ecstatic smile he'd ever seen.

' Perfect.'

That single word crossed his mind, a split second after which his Aston Martin raced down the empty road.
