The Party ( Surprise Guest)

Jusi basically ran down the stairs to get to the door. She hadn't seen her family in 4 months because of her busy schedule. This party was the perfect way to catch up. She also hated her door bell ,it sound like church bells to her.

Reaching the last step she wondered why her mom hasn't used her key yet. She never used da door bell. Jusi walked to look through da peep hole. Screming with excitement she quickly opened the.

" OMG , Renie. What are u doing here. Thought couldn't make it." She practically screamed greeting her long time friend.

" Jusi you honestly think I'm going to miss your house warming,not to mention your birthday. " They hugged for what seem like forever.

Renie Jones was probably the only other person who knew Jusi as much as her mother. As a best friend since their elementary school days, she might jus know more than her mother.

Renie was much like Jusi. She too graduated with a high GPA and high SAT scores. Renie wasn't a sports girl though. She was great in everything else. Math being at the top of list. Her scholarship to Florida A&M University was for mathematics and mathematical science. Jusi was good at math but Renie was genius.

" I thought you was busy with a major mathematical science project and couldn't make it." Jusi questioned her still smiling. " What changed in the matter of a week.

Renie was looking round nodding her head . Which means not only do she like the simple decoration but the place as whole. " I finished my part of the project round noon yesterday. " Renie explained. " My partner John finished his part round 3:30 , we showed our professor by 5 and well here I am, bihhh." She turned and started twerking, even though there no music playing yet Jusi join in . " Aye, Aye ..Go best friend..aaye" They both bursted with laughter and hugged again.

Graduation was almost 2 years ago. Facetime is good but actually seeing each other face to face was even better. She missed her friend who was more like sister to her. "Come on to da kitchen.Would u like a drink?" She led her to da kitchen. Jusi was much a cook herself and neither was Renie.

Her kitchen wasn't really big. Fully furnish wit a little table to the right of da room. Have the perfect size refegerator and freezer combination. The stove sat in the middle of a great counter on da left side of the room. All aligned with the a deep double sink.

In the middle of the kitchen was an nice island...covered in a lavender tablecloth to match da rest of the decoration.

" Jusi ,bitch..did make all this food? " She cut her eyes at her friend suspiciously.

Laughing Jusi shook her head," Girl you kno damn well I cant cook." Renie gave her the 'bitch I know look' . " Its all catered ." " However I did make all the drinks." She said cutting her eyes back at friend. Both looked at each other and wit a nod choose their first drink of the night.

" So where the family. I cant want to see Mama Longs. " Renie exclaimed excitedly. " She always been like a second mom,I missed her as much as I missed u."

" They should be here any minute. You know my dad. He's never on time anything. Hell ,he almost missed the twins birth by a minute and 30 seconds. " They giggled.
