The Party : Suprises Guest

Jusi and Renie was laughing loudly in the kitchen. Jusi chose a simple vodka and cranberry drink while Renie went straight vodka wit orange juice to chase. " Girl tell me what new." Renie said after a sip from her cup. " I' ve literally been dying to see those chocolate eyes of yours." Jusi rolled her eyes dramatically. She knew who the ' chocolate ' comment was related to. " NO Renie...I haven't seen him." Renie gave her an side eye glace. " Really Renie, between my classes and work ...I have no time." Jusi explained.

Freshman year of college Jusi ran into an upperclassman named Hykife Hummin. He of course didnt go to Spelman, since it's a girl school. When I say ran into I mean ran into. I was late for my second class that day. With everything I owned plus three course books,I was sprinting down the English lab corridors. Not paying my surroundings any type of attention. Face first I went into what I thought was a wall. Knocking everything I had and myself back to reality.As I lay on floor I realized it was a person I hit.

" Hello..Earth to Jusi." Renie who had a large smile on face. " Renie, Hykife was an upperclassman than...I'm sure he hasn't thought about that poor freshman since." Jusi down her drink before turning on heels to look at the clock.

" Where could my family be." She thought outloud. " Its not like my mama to be late for anything." Taking her phone from pocket she dialed #1 which popped up Mama. It ring twice befor it was answered. " Hey sweetie." Her mother calm tone greeted her. " Mom where are yall. I thought yall would of been here by now"

" Jusi you know how your father is." I could hear her rolling her eyes. I contained my giggle though. " He jus refused to show up empty handed ." She hung up than. What are they up to, Jusi thought to herself.

" Renie !" Jusi called out to her friend. " My parents are up to something. You wouldn't kno anything about this would you" Renie who was fixing herself another drink shook her head. " Girl I haven't seen your parents since graduation ." She laughed. " Jus be cool..I'm sure whatever it is, you will love it" Reni hand Jusi a shot class full of vodka. " In the mean time .." Reni crooked smiled at Jusi . " Its shots for two." Jusi jus laughed at her friend, shaking her head,because the girl was still the same. LIFE OF THE PARTY. No matter how little the party.

"Happy Birthday..Bihh." Renie shouted. They both throw back their shots.Each twerking after. It was after all Jusi 24th birthday. The music in the background was on. Both girls where dance along to the beat. " Bing bong bing bong" the door bell sounded off. " UGH I HATE THAT DAMN DOOR BELL." Renie was laughing but she followed to see who was at the door.

Peeping through the door peep hole Jusi saw two of class mates. She opened the door smiling " Jade ,Kali hey." She hugged each of them as they walked in. " Reni this is Jade and Kali ." she introduced them. "Jade ,Kali this is my sister best friend Renie " Jusi turned to the new guests. " Yall finally finished the paper huh? " Both girl jus rolled their eyes. " Finally ."Kali said ."Fuck that paper!" Jade rolled her eyes. "Where the Hennessy at." She asked Jusi. " " Jusi girl think I like Jade" Renie took Jade hand and led her to kitchen. " Pick your poison, hunny" Renie cooed at Jade. Jade reaches for Hennessy and organe juice. "Posion picked." She held her cup high. Throwing her drink back ...She puts down an empty cup. Renie was jus about comment when Jusi came round the corner with Kali right behind her. "Jade slow down the party hasn't started yet."

" She upset because professor Clark made her re-write 3 pages of her paper ."Kali laughed.

Jusi laughed. " Well ..." she looked at Renie who was already pouring them a round shots. " Shots all round." Jade took hers and looked at everyone holding their shots. " Happy birthday bitch. " They all shared a laugh. Placing their empty shot glasses on the table.

" Renie where are u goin to school? " Kali asked.

" Florida A&M ."

" Wow fun ...my parent sent me here because it's an all girl school." She laughed at her parents lack of reasoning. "Though it'll keep me out of trouble and away from from boys. " All the girl where laughing. Jade fixed drink #3.

The conversation when on .They talked about what classes were in the line up.How nice and cozy Jusi house was. Reni and Jusi told child hood story. It was really shaping out to be a pertty perfect birthday. If only my family would hurry up and get here. Jusi thought to herself.
