Strange Students

"Sup."

Leaning in the doorway, there was a handsome man with stunning purple eyes.

"Master!" a short, green-haired girl squealed and apparated, next appearing with her arms around the man's neck, suspended in mid-air.

"Lexi."

"That's not much of a response," the girl pouted, and leaped off of his neck.

"Hello Master." a calm and smooth voice spoke, coming from an equally, if not more, handsome man with jet black hair, as he bowed to Edward.

"Jason," Edward smiled towards him.

"Hehe, it's good to see you Master," a spine chilling voice reverberated inside of the stone walls.

The owner of the voice revealed herself from the corner of the room: she was a haggard woman with dishevelled and dark blue hair. She had so many bags beneath her eyes that they looked as if they would fall out and her clothes had rips and tears everywhere.

"Alissa."

"And finally, Luke."

"..."

A pale boy with completely white hair sat in the windowsill; he looked at Edward, for a moment, before turning back to looking out the window, the mini oceans in his eyes shimmering as the sunlight kissed his whole pale body.

'Oh God, I've created an edgy anime character.'

While Edward reflected on his sins, Jason spoke up.

"So what are you doing here?"

Edward snapped back to reality.

"Oh. Well, I've finally got something for you to do."

"Is this the start of your empire, Master?" Lexi giggled excitedly.

"Yes. Come with me and I'll explain."

All of them gathered around as Edward clicked his fingers, transporting them into the future.

"Urgh, is time travel always this sickness-inducing?" Lexi groaned dizzily, occasionally walking into a wall.

"Ah, you're back Edward. These must be your students," Richard observed, looking over them, whilst Anna smiled and shook hands with each of them.

Edward introduced both sides to eachother and immediately got to business.

"As you all know, I've gathered you here to discuss the start of the empire. This is the reason I gave you the powers you have today, to begin our empire."

The group listened intently to every word.

"However, we must take it one step at a time, and the first thing we need to do is create a group and display our power to the world."

They spent the next couple of hours deciding on the name of the group, designing the outfits, discussing more plans, and generally just catching up.

In the end, they decided to name the group 'Judgement' to represent their power. They controlled justice. They controlled who lived or died. They would control the world.

Each of them put on a unique mask and outfit that they had designed and Edward crafted.

Lexi wore a cherry red top with pink knives on it and a black and white chequered skirt and stockings. Her mask was a red bunny one.

Jason had a simple suit with one side black and the other white, the shirt behind it following the same pattern, while his tie was chequered black and white. His mask had the same pattern as his outfit, just reverse and covered the upper half of his face like a masquerade mask.

Alissa's outfit was just a long, baggy, black robe that stretched past her hands and seemed to have become tattered the minute she put it on. Her mask was a silver and resembled a plague doctor's.

Finally, Luke wore a black jacket that hid his mouth and ripped black jeans. His mask was white, however and only covered the upper right quarter of his face, including his right eye.

Naturally, all of the outfits and masks had bonuses and boosts, but they were too numerous to list. He'd also given them all wands.

"Right, let's show ourselves to the world."

"Are we all ready? Wait, where's Alissa?"

BOOM!

***

Moments prior, Alissa had just seen a small open field and decided to test out some new magic she had learnt.

"My newest modification to this spell has got to be my best yet. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about using it," she cackled crazily.

As if calling to the very elements themselves, she raised her hands to the sky and a massive amount of power began to be attracted to her hands. The pressure from the extreme energy signature almost uprooted trees and swept away entire buildings.

"Fiendfyre!"

All of the cumulated power converted into black flames and emerged from her hands as a huge demon.

Roaring, the demon crashed into the ground, exploding as an unbearable heat swept the forest and everything was obliterated until everything had turned into a wasteland of ash.

Alissa smiled, looking pretty pleased with the result until she turned around.

A whole street in the village had also blown up, she may have fired off a few other spells in the excitement.

Whoops.

Out of nowhere, Edward appeared and looked exasperated at Alissa.

Edward rewinded time to before all the destruction.

"What have I told you about blowing shit up?"

"Why does it matter, you can just rewind the damage..." Alissa mumbled as she looked at the ground and twiddled her thumbs.

"What?"

"...it's not allowed unless you give us permission," Alissa relented.

"Good."

Edward turned his back for a second, not noticing Alissa drawing her wand.

"I didn't quite test out all my spell improvements."

"Hehe. Bombarda Maxima."

Edward turned around and saw a whole street reduced to rubble.

"For fu-"
