Of course, America didn't take kindly to having a large castle float over their cities, instantly killing anyone who was under it. Naturally, they responded the only way they knew how.

With extreme force.

On that day, a mere two days after the Demon Lord's declaration, and one day after the appearance of the castle, the United States military deployed pretty much every weapon in their arsenal; from tanks to planes, all of them with the intent of "taking that castle out of the sky."

It was a clear, beautiful day. The bright blue sky was only marred by the presence of the looming, dark castle, a slight wind passing through the fields.
