We then get to the big hills of the dune sea in the Sahara desert, the Largest desert in the world, for we will hear the narration of our Hero, Cobedra.
Cobedra (off-screen)
Wow. Amazing. Some people would think that's sarcasm, but truth be told, this desert is so incredibly huge! This is the Sahara Desert., Now, let's get this over with.
We then see a camel with stuff on its back walking as the pan continues.
Cobedra (off screen)
No, that camel is not me. You'll see me later.
Cobedra and Andy come out of the camel's bag full of supplies to find some food.
Cobedra
That nerdy cobra with the hat? Yep, that's me. I'm that cobra. And that right next to me is my best friend, Andy. He's appropriately enough an ant, hence his name. It's a long story on how we met, but I'll keep it simple.
The scene then fades to Cobedra slithering out in the desert alone and sad after a boring day of scavenging. Then, he sees a car drive by and kick some dust. Then, an anthill came out of the car, and it drove off. Cobedra slithers to the broken anthill, and a lot of ants come out and start sweating and feeling miserable. While Andy decides to leave, Cobedra sees two mean snakes coming and chatting. So, he slithers away, and the snakes come in to grab the ants.
Snake 1
Well, well, well. What do we have here? A lost anthill. Let's take these ants.
Snake 2
Sure boss.
(begins to laugh maniacally and stupidly)
The ants start panicking. Andy felt too scared. The snakes capture them and take them to their oasis to torture them. Later, Andy was taken by two snakes as they locked him in an old rusty cage. Back at the hideout, Snake 2 begins to scare him by pretending he was biting Andy. He enjoys it and laughs. Cobedra then barges in and confronts the snakes.
Cobedra
Stop! Leave that ant alone!
Snake 1
Well, well. Look who we have here.
Cobedra
Don't make me bite. I'm the toughest!
(bites the second snake)
Snake 1
Oh, yeah? What are you gonna…?
As Snake 1 saw Cobedra bite Snake 2, he gets scared and frees Andy.
Andy
Thanks, sir.
(smiles)
Cobedra
Anytime.
(smiles back)
Andy
(asking politely)
So, uh, wanna be my friend?
Cobedra
Sure, I want friends.
(smiles)
Andy shakes Cobedra's tail.
Cobedra (present)
And that's how me and Andy became friends. We're just
scavengers. We grab food and just keep it and share it with other snakes, but sometimes, we get hungry. Okay, let's continue the story.
Andy
Yea. It was really scary being locked up in that cage. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even be here right now!
Cobedra
That's right, bud. Thankfully, I came. Anyways, let's go get some food. I'm getting kinda hungry. How about you, Andy?
Andy
You bet! I'm hungry. I've been waiting all day.
Cobedra
Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go.
Cobedra and Andy then begin to search for food. Cobedra stumbles upon a camel sitting on the sand and a man minding his own business trying to get some water.
Cobedra
Alright, let's get six melons.
So, Cobedra gets in and starts getting the melons out quietly and puts it on the sandy ground and then lands on the sand, and Andy climbs down.
Cobedra
Well, that's all the food we'll get… for now.
Andy
Yeah, and don't forget about the-
(gets squashed by another melon)
Cobedra
(gasps and slides down the rag on the camel)
Andy, are you okay?
Andy
Ow… Yeah, I'm alright. Good thing ants get strength to not get squashed.
The next scene shows Cobedra and Andy roaming to their snake trench. A lot of snakes and cobras come out to see Cobedra.
Cobedra's Voice
That's my home, and everyone in the trench knows me.
Snakes and Cobras
Hey! It's Cobedra!
Hey, Cobedra.
How ya doin?
It's everyone's favorite cobra!
Cobedra
(shyly)
Hi, everybody. I just got some for everyone.
(rolls some melons towards them)
The snakes start getting some melons. Then, a voice is heard.
Keon
Great, but you're gonna need more than just a few melons.
Cobedra's Voice
That's my dad. He's really cool. He and I don't talk too much, but he's just sad.
Cobedra's dad, Keon, comes out of the shadows to see Cobedra.
Cobedra
Hello, Dad.
(bows down)
Keon
Hmmm. I see you have been good recently for scavenging melons. Did you encounter animals?
Cobedra
Yes and no, father.
Cobedra begins to feel shy to tell his father the truth.
Cobedra
There's something I need to tell you about.
Keon
What is it, Cobedra?
Cobedra
Well, I-I haven't told you this, but I always feel like being a nice snake. I don't feel defensive or aggressive. I just feel different from everyone else ever since I was little.
Keon
(sighs after realizing)
I understand, but you still need to not show kindness. Humans are greedy and evil. They don't care. Neither do the other animals.
Cobedra
I just wish I could do something to at least change my life…
Keon
Don't worry, Cobedra. It will come later. For now, you'll just
need to wait until you find one. You still have time. Patience is key.
Cobedra
Thanks, father.
(sighs in relief)
Phew! Oh boy. I need to rest. I've been sweating outside the trench.
(slithers to his own cave)
See you, dad.
Keon thinks about being all alone in the trench and feels sad and slithers to his cave where we see a drawing of Keon and his lost wife who was lost and forgotten.
Keon
Oh, honey, if only you were here…
(looks down)
