5. Visiting Grandparents

The village gate is composed of two sturdy wooden pillars, atop with earthen tile roof. They look common, as everywhere in this period was built the same way, but they look wide and tall.

Chicken drumsticks were given to Xiao Cao and Xiao Fan. After lunch finished Madame Zhang helped Meiyin clear the dishes and wash them.

Hello, guys I am the author of this work, I just started this novel and it is my maiden project. I have been a fan of this web novel for quite some time, so all I did was reading the novels. Thus I decided to write something to share as well. I am not a native English speaker, and I like Eastern fantasy but not too OP MC. So my MC is not OP, because he was just a normal guy like us who was transmigrated. Furthermore more my work release is not fixed because I write when I have free time or when I am too stressed from work (to release stress).
