Chapter 1 : Moving In

I was pretty shocked that Abigail wanted us to move in together. I mean of course couples do move in together but me and Abigail had only been together for about close to a month. Anyway Abigail and I had bought a new house and she got to pick the house because ... well she wanted to and I couldn't refuse.

When we arrived at the house it was a pretty astonishing site. The house looked bigger that it was described though. The truck arrived shortly after us but we were wondering if we had come to the wrong house because the house was nowhere close to what we bought. Abigail took it as if it was not a big deal that the house did not match the description. I followed her lead and did not think about it too much.

When we entered the house I wont lie it looked pretty good and so now it was time to un box. I had mixed feelings about the stuff of the last owner still being inside the house because being African I was not used to things like this. Abigail seemed happy so I let it slide. Even though she was happy I made it clear that everything that did not belong to us that we found in there had to go and she was fine with that and so I was relieved of one thing that bothered me. I hired a truck and we took everything that belonged to the past owner out of the house , to where? I don't know and I didn't care , as long as it was out of the house I was okay.

After hours of putting things into place we finally settled down and called it a day.
