Locke had been scouting the forest for the past 4 days. He had come across many creatures around level 150-199 in that time and leveled up to 196. During that time, he came across a gigantic door that stood 20 meters tall and oozed bad intent. The door had a demonic skull glowing red as its handle, it was black and red for the most part.

During his time leveling up, Locke realized he would gain more and more stat points with every 10 levels. He felt that he was slowly reaching a barrier that he would need to break to become level 200. This is why he had made his decision to enter the large door which he assumed was most likely a dungeon of sorts. Making his way to the dungeon's door, it creaked open to show a portal that would transport whoever entered. Locke braised himself and entered inside, he had no idea what he would see.
The moment he had entered the dungeon and opened his eyes, he saw dozens of slime monsters roaming around. Most of them were green while some were blue, yellow, or red. All of their levels ranged from 20-50, they were easy to kill and didn't help Locke to level up. As he met the end to the first floor of the dungeon, he saw a teleport pad that led him to the second floor. The monsters ranged from 75-125 this time, they were mostly bat-like creatures around a meter tall. He had gained 2 levels from clearing the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor was a lot bigger than the 2nd, it hosted orcs that were around 2 meters tall. They were mostly level 140-180 this time, they ended up giving Locke enough exp to reach level 199. Locke soon reached the 4th floor where he met gigantic snakes that were 8-10 meters in length. This floor hosted few creatures, but they all ranged from 190-199. Locke hadn't become level 200, but he knew he was very close and just need one more kill.
Locke had finally reached the 5th floor, this was the mini-boss level. He could see an 8-meter tall blue minotaur with bulging muscles ready for battle. It had two large red horns on its head and completely black eyes. It looked and Locke and was prepared to attack.

Locked widened his eyes as he read the stats of the minotaur, it would take more than raw power to beat this thing. Locke evasively maneuvered himself and dodged all of the blows. If any hit from the minotaur landed on him, it would seriously wound him. As the minotaur was preparing for another charge, Locke moved behind it struck with his azure claws. It only dealt 500 hp in total, but this enraged the minotaur as it started to become even more aggressive. Using this to his advantage, he drained the minotaur's stamina so that he would be an easy kill later. The minotaur had become so enraged that it activated its berserk skill similar to Locke's own berserk skill. It multiplied its speed and damage by 1.5, it was now prepared to unleash its fury. The minotaur had grown half a meter taller as its muscles looked like they were about to explode. There was a red aura around it like kaioken from dragon ball, but it was less perfect than the kaioken and far weaker.

The battle had now become more dangerous and uneventful, a single blow could fatally wound Locke if it were to land. Worst of all, the minotaur was 50% faster now. The only thing different was that the minotaur had lost all reason and could not think thoroughly. It carelessly used tons of stamina and tried to barrage Locke with lethal blows. After that barrage, it was panting very hard and was growing even angrier. Locke charged an azure flamethrower with 3000 mp right at the minotaur, the max he could do right now. It did explosive damage to the stomach area of the minotaur, it was probably twice as slow and could not land full power blows. The skin of the minotaur was peeling off as you could see bones sticking out of its stomach, it was vulnerable now! Locke used his chance and burned the minotaur from the inside out.

Locke felt a sense of euphoria reaching him as he saw his status, this was also because he broke through level 200. This usually took most humans, dwarves, elves around a few weeks to complete, but it took Locke only 4 hours to become 199-250. He was exhausted and needed to rest, so he made his way out of the dungeon to his base.
When Locke reached the base he was met with a blue screen window alerting him of something.

Locke reviewed each species and decided between being a space dragon or a divine light dragon. They were each immensely more powerful than A-class, comparing the distance between A-class and S-class is unfathomable. There was also a big difference in the S class, the divine light dragon(S+) was stronger than the space dragon(S-) by a considerable amount. But it wasn't as big as the difference between A and S. Locke decided to fuck it and went straight for the Divine Light dragon knowing the precautions given. He immediately regretted it as pain seared through his entire body far worse than his first evolution. He could feel as his dark mana was being converted in Divine Light mana forcefully.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" He screamed as he couldn't hold the pain, it was fortunate he was very deep inside the cave. The noises he made would have alerted any nearby adventurers and may have led to his death.

Draven was a B class adventurer who had just broken the level 1000 barrier 3 years ago. It took him only 5 years to become level 1000 from level 300. He was now level 1600 Magic Swordsman, Master Swordsman, Warden. He was very talented in his group of adventurers. He would probably become an A-class adventurer in 2 years assuming he keeps his current pace. He was only 31 and would soon class up his magic swordsman class becoming a magic knight. His party consisted of 4 people including him that were all above level 1000.
There was Mia who was a level 1180 Fire Sorcerer at age 30. Her looks and talent were above average, but just that. She did pretty good damage as a long-range fighter and synced well with the team.
Clary was a Light healer who was taught at the church at a young age. She was also only 30 at level 1085, it was amazing progress because of her class that was mainly support based. She had the looks of a model and great talent just below Draven. Being a healer, she was sought out by everyone to join their party. She ended up joining Draven since they were friends for 15 years.
Simon was a Magic tank who mainly suppressed attacks that used MP. He was level 1210 at 29, he showed good talent at best. His looks could be classified as above average as he had a muscular build that wasn't over the top.
They had just taken a B rank quest that specified them to kill a monster lurking in the outer edges of the forest. The only info they got about the monster was that it had blue scales that faded to black as proven by the adventurers finding them near the carriage. The reward was 40 gold, so they would each split it and give everyone 10 gold. They thought it would be easy as they couldn't suspect any monster in the outer regions being above 300.
"I guess we're being paid for free this month. We won't have to work for the whole month if we complete this!" Draven said as he let out a loud laugh. The other party members agreed as they thought it wouldn't be difficult at all. It was great they had been too slow, otherwise, it may have been snatched by the summoned heroes. 20 of them were summoned by the kingdom 2 years ago with the help of the light goddess. They had all been summoned with a level of 500 and the hero class and a few titles which immensely boosted their stats making them rival adventurers 300-400 levels above them. In those 2 years, all of them were nearing level 2000 except for one guy who was summoned without a class and was at level 1. He had only just become 200 at that time, everyone mocked and made fun of him for that. Almost all of them thought this world was like a game, so they were very arrogant and attacked those who disobeyed. Draven's party had narrowly avoided meeting one of them, who knows what might have happened if they were just a bit unlucky.
