Long Distance Relationship

Ling Siyue took the place of Jin Mu and went out. She had decided to venture the local market. As a princess who was supposed to be closed indoors, her wishes to run out were tremdous.

She did not have much royal duties, so she would always go out to venture the markets and different places in the capital city of Yanfou. Moreover, this helped her to know about public opinions and various problems that they were facing.

Her reputation in Binhai was even worse than of a criminal. If possible, they could have killed her on the day of her wedding. But they did not do anything as Emperor was present. Moreover, it was the emperor, himself who had decided this marriage.

It did not matter her if these people hated or loved her. But in order to know about the inhalation and claiming of the Yanfou and Forbidden City, she had to start from the city forks.

In various pawn shops, information was sold. At wine shops and open street restaurants, soldiers and servants would gossip, cough cough, discuss about various things which they had seen in different camps and houses. At jewellery shops, women would be flaunting and gossiping about the new privileges, the war had brought to different people. It was same for the every country.

When she had come out from the servant door of the residence, she had encountered Gu Xiao. He was again mesmerized by the beauty in the veil in front of him but his heart did not flutter and was able to get his composure sooner.

Ling Siyue had noticed his infatuation with Jin Mu. She could also guess that Jin Mu was also curious about this man. She had caught Jin Mu staring at him, whenever he would come to take his food in the servant's quarters. Jin Mu would be humming something after taking a glance at him.

This man also seemed to like Jin Mu from the bottom of his heart. But he could not approach her as he lacked confidence. In addition, Jin Mu was a dowry maid from Yanfou. The prejudices his friends and family would be putting would not be easy to handle.

Jin Mu also could not approach him as she had to swap her place with the princess. Moreover, she was Yan. She was afraid of being played by Gu Xiao. She was sad that Gu Xiao had to face the criticism of the society. So she kept her advances but could not tell her heart not to like him.

Ling Siyue sighed as she though about their situation. She had decided to allow her Jin Mu to date this man when everything would be settled. If Jin Mu liked him and he liked JinMu so much that they were ready to leave their countries behind, then she did not care. In fact, she would be happy if her little friend Jin Mu was happy. She would support them.

But nothing could be done at this time interval. Their love had to face many problems before getting acceptance or peaceful life. Ling Siyue did not know that the thoughts she was having for Jin Mu would actually turn to her. She and her love would in the same circumstances as this young couple had to face.

Gu Xiao and Ling Siyue passed each other. She had lowered her eyes acting shy. She did not want Jin Mu to have any bad impression. Same was for Gu Xiao. He had averted his gaze but his heart was nervous. According to him, the woman who has passed was his crush. How could he give a bad impression on her even if he could not approach her?? They could be distant lovers... no.. what was that called.. yep... they could be in long distance relationship.

Long distance relationship was something that could give Gu Xiao a privilege to love Jin Mu from afar. Nobody would blame him or her as they were not close. Their hearts could be close if their bodies contacts, I mean, hugging, holding hands etc., were not possible. They could be together mentally if physically was not possible. This was the definition of the Long Distance Relationship for Gu Xiao.
