Let’s time travel

Chris found himself pondering a profound question: "How can I traverse the fabric of time?"

System: Simply manifest your desires through focused thoughts. For example, you can mentally command, "Time, carry me forward 500 years into the future."

Chris: Ah, I see. Let me give it a shot. "Time, transport me 20 years ahead into the future."

As Chris's gaze fell upon the planet, it appeared to accelerate in its rotation, eventually decelerating to a halt.

Chris: It seems my endeavor was successful.

System: Indeed, your command has been fulfilled.

Chris: Curiosity piques me—what fate befell Adam and Eve as time hastened its pace?

System: During this accelerated passage, Adam and Eve raised 12 children, of whom 5 have reached adulthood, and they all lead lives filled with contentment.

Chris: Excellent news! They have certainly been busy. But what course of action should I pursue now?

System: It appears that your next responsibility is to enlighten and educate them.

Chris: Yes, that sounds like a plausible path to embark upon.

Chris descended to the planet's surface, extending a warm greeting to all the offspring.

Chris: Where might I find Adam and Eve?

Children: They slumber within the cavern.

Approaching Chris, one of the adults inquired, "What do you require of them, Your Holiness?"

Chris: I seek to impart knowledge—teaching all of you the arts of construction, combat, and agriculture.

Adult: While they rest, you may instruct us. Once they awaken, I shall undertake their education.

Chris: Very well. Let us commence with the fundamentals of fire-starting.

(After an hour) Mastery of fire has been attained.

(After three hours) Proficiency in farming techniques has been acquired.

Chris: Let us pause for a respite. Your parents have slept for an extended period.

Adult: Indeed, their prolonged slumber appears peculiar.

Chris ventured into the cave, where he discovered Adam and Eve seemingly in peaceful repose. However, a sense of foreboding washed over him—indicating their departure from the realm of the living.

Chris: I neglected to inquire—may I know your name? Chris asked one of the adults.

Jake: My name is Jake.

Chris: Jake, could you verify if your parents yet draw breath? I fear old age may have claimed their lives.

Jake obediently checked for signs of life, but what he discovered left him in a state of shock.

Jake: They are not breathing, and their lifeless forms have grown cold as stone.

A profound sadness engulfed Chris, for his initial creations had succumbed to the passage of time.

Jake: Please, I implore you, restore them to life!

Chris glanced at the weeping Jake, then turned his gaze back to Adam and Eve.

Chris: I apologize, but all beings ultimately face their demise.

Jake: Why must we mortals succumb while you remain eternal?

Chris: I am remorseful. It is time for me to depart.

Chris left the planet behind, venturing into the boundless void.

Chris: Can systems also succumb to the ravages of time and age?

System: Indeed, systems can be subject to the passage of time. However, methods exist to attain immortality.

1. Create an imperishable vessel and transfer your consciousness into it.

2. Attain an intimate bond with the very essence of reality (reality affinity)

Chris: By pursuing one of these avenues, I may achieve immortality.
