dungeon/ruins (part 2)

The adventurers stared at the imposing tomb before them, frustration etched on their faces. "How are we supposed to explore this tomb?" E-ranked Adventure 1 exclaimed, scratching their head in bewilderment.

E-ranked Adventure 2 chimed in, trying to find a solution. "Well, maybe we should just go back," they suggested hesitantly.

E-ranked Adventure 1 pondered the idea for a moment before reluctantly agreeing, "Going back is a good idea, I suppose. But think about it—we'll never lay our hands on the legendary gold rumored to be hidden within these ancient walls."

Feeling defeated, the adventurers returned to the adventurers guild, eager to report their findings. The receptionist, a diligent and perceptive individual, listened attentively as they detailed the challenges they faced at the tomb's entrance.

Intrigued by their account, the receptionist promptly informed the emperor about the situation. The emperor, known for his unwavering curiosity and thirst for adventure, summoned the adventurers and the guild's researchers to the palace.

"I see, so there is indeed a tomb," mused the emperor, his gaze fixed on a map spread out before him.

"Yes, Your Majesty," confirmed the receptionist. "The tomb appears to be an enigmatic structure with a sealed entrance, confounding even our seasoned adventurers."

A determined glint flashed in the emperor's eyes. "Let us assemble an elite expedition team," he declared. "We shall spare no expense in our pursuit of this mysterious tomb's secrets."

And so, the emperor gathered his trusted guards and rewarded accomplished adventurers handsomely to join the expedition. Simultaneously, he assigned a group of skilled researchers, well-versed in ancient languages and history, to delve into the tomb's background and decipher its secrets.

As the expedition party approached the towering entrance, the researchers focused their attention on the inscriptions adorning the massive door, hoping to unlock the riddles they held.

"What does this writing on the door say?" inquired Researcher 1, squinting to make out the intricate carvings.

Researcher 2 furrowed their brow, deep in thought. "I've come across this particular script in old books before," they replied. "However, its meaning eludes me. I can only vaguely recall seeing it mentioned in the pages of an ancient tome."

The Researcher Leader, renowned for their extensive studies of ancient texts, stepped forward. With a sense of purpose, they examined the enigmatic inscription. "I have dedicated years to deciphering these old books," they announced, their voice brimming with confidence. "Allow me to translate what I can discern. It reads, 'In the beginning, there was one god who created the world and the ancient ones. However, as time passed, they gradually forgot about him...'"

The researchers exchanged intrigued glances, captivated by the hint of a forgotten history woven within those words. "That's all I can decipher for now," the Researcher Leader admitted, their excitement palpable. "The rest of the inscription remains a mystery, yet to be unraveled."

The expedition team stood in awe, realizing that they were on the cusp of an extraordinary adventure. With the emperor's support and the researchers' growing knowledge, they prepared to unveil the secrets hidden within the unopened tomb's depths.
