Silverblade Academy

After talking for a bit longer, Kimaris learnt all there is about Avalon. There is no way to get out of the island without the assistance of the 'Gate Association' by becoming one of the Conquerors who go out to the place they call the forbidden continent, when in fact it is the old remains of the Morning Star Republic, but it seems that it has been abandoned by most people, however, those living outside of big cities and in seclusion have been left behind.

He also learnt that he needs to join one of the seven academies on this island and either graduate from it or be selected to join an expedition to accompany the Conquerors on a mission. He had to choose between seven academies which are the: Sky Fortune Academy, Asura Academy, Divine Phoenix Academy, Black Dragon Academy, Sovereign Academy, Silverblade Academy and Abyss Academy.

Going from first to last in their respective rankings, now Kimaris knew he had to get selected for an expedition, therefore, he would obviously go to the academy which would give him the most chances, that being the Silverblade Academy since the Abyss Academy focuses a lot on engineering as well.

He got led to a room where he got changed before he could be released into the city, he got given a new set of clothes which was a plain-looking outfit which was just a pair of blue jeans, white t-shirt along with a black zip-up hoodie, however, his spear was nowhere to be seen.

He followed after someone who got told to escort him and they went up to a registration desk where a young woman who was the clerk of the desk spoke to him, "Hello, you must be new to our city. I'm here to register you and give you a new form of identification just so we can track you, could I ask for your name along with your date of birth?"

The clerk smiled nicely at him while Kimaris had a quick thought, he doesn't know what the Kesarch families relation is like with the current 10 great families, so he shouldn't be using his name around casually. "My names Kimaris Dawnblade, and I was born on the 25th of July in the 2785th year."

"Okay, and finally I need you to pass through this scanner on my left. This will let us have a scan of you to make sure nobody is claiming to be you."

Kimaris then walked through the scanner and went back to the clerk who was already waiting for him. "Here's your personal identificatior, it can also be used to contact other people which you have shared your personal identification ID." The person identificatior was passed to Kimaris, "Have a good day."

Kimaris grabbed the PI, "Thank you for your help, I would also like to ask, where would I find the Silverblade Academy?"

"Hmm, the Silverblade Academy isn't too far from here. Here, have this map, the Silverblade Academy is located on the most eastern side of the island, it's hard to miss it!"

Kimaris grabbed the map and started to head out, he was currently naked with possesions. He had nowhere to stay and had to quickly find a place to stay, the perfect place for that would be at one of the academies. He was currently in the central most area of the island and it would take him a good amount of time to travel to the academy.

Upon exiting the building he was shocked beyond his expectations, he was expecting to see something similar to the cities he saw on the forbidden continent, however, this place was like a utopia, buildings rose above the clouds, the roads were bustling with people and everywhere you looked, it was like a city from the golden age of humanity. However, one thing was standing out to him, above the buildings there was actually another island, it looked like an area straight out of fiction, it was floating there and rotating above the city. Kimaris couldn't stop looking at it, however, the sun had just passed its topmost point and started to go down, he had to hurry.

Along the way, Kimaris spotted so many people, he had never seen such big amounts of people. There were buildings which sold food to people and it all looked fake to him, he was used to having to get his own food and making it himself. He could also feel some people who gave off a fighting aura, however, there weren't too many.

After walking for around half an hour, he had spotted a platform with long tubes, he had assumed that these were trains. Kimaris had a lot of knowledge about things like these since he had to study hard at his family, therefore, he could picture together most things.

He walked up the stairs to the platform and found somebody wearing a white uniform waiting around. He decided to ask them for help for directions.

"Excuse me, hello?"

The person turned around, they had long white hair and a smooth and defined face and their blue eyes stuck out from a distance. Their hair was white, yet, they were young and had a special aura around them like those people Kimaris could feel before. "Can I help you?"

they responded in a calm manner, Kimaris was actually shocked about the woman, he had never seen such a beautiful girl in their family grounds, but he did not let that stop him right now. "I was wondering if you could tell me which train to get on to go to the Silverblade Academy?"

"The Silverblade Academy? Sure, I can. However, what do you need from there?"

"Well, I'm actually looking to become a student there."

"Is that so? Well, you just need to get on the next train here, it will take you directly there. I can lead you to the recruitment office, it's on my way."
