Getting Rid of What's Wrong

John snaps his fingers, "Oh, did you bring a bottle?"

Alexia nods her head & sighs, "Sadly, yes, I did."

"Cool. I need to drink my problems away."

"I know John, sadly. I will get it from my car." Alexia gets up & walks to her car. She opens the door & says to herself under her breath, "Don't worry, John. I have some problems to drink away too."

She walks back to John & sits back down next to him. Alexia opens the bottle of alcohol, "Do you want the first drink, or should I get the first drink?"

John thinks for a moment. "Ehhh, it is your bottle, so you get the first drink."

Alexia shrugs, "Alright then," she starts drinking out of the bottle.

After a few seconds, John grabs the bottle & says, "Alright now. Don't become an alcoholic now like my mom."

She laughs at John, "It is my bottle, remember now."

John starts drinking out of the bottle & just shrugs while looking at her. John stops drinking & says, "True, I guess."

They both lay back on the ground & look at the sky, which is slowly getting dark. The sky slowly starts to fill with stars.

"I love looking at the stars," John said while they are passing the bottle back & forth & drink out of it.

"Yeah, I know, John."

After a while, they slowly start to get tired & soon fall asleep.

The next morning, John slowly wakes up. With the sun shining on his face, he realizes that it is the following day. John lays up quickly! He looks at Alexia lying there, curled up next to him on the ground. He smiles & rubs her head. Alexia grunts & swats his hand away from her head without opening her eyes.

"Mom, it is Saturday. Let me sleep."

John chuckles, "No, Dimples, it is me. Wake up, loser."

Alexia slowly opens her eyes & sees John looking at her.

"Good morning, Sleepy Head!"

"Good morning John. What time is it?"

John pulls out his phone from his pocket. "It is 9:30 am."

Alexia looks, then lays up, "Do you want to come back to my house for breakfast? Give you more time away from your mom."

John nods his head, "Yeah. My mom will get mad at me no matter what time I get back home. Can I spend the night at your house? I don't want to go back home today."
