[Jesse's point of view]
And with her first call, the cycle was marked. The night passed with Jessica being unconscious. She lied on my laps the whole night while I was observing her. The dream took longer than usual; her consciousness was trapped somewhere away from here.
"Are you listening to me now? You're conscious?" I constantly repeated to her hoping for a reply. I worried she would not come back to us; come back to me.
The night was long. Darkness embraced my soul with Jessica's. Like falling raindrops on a window, Jessica's tears rained on her cheeks. Her hair spread its tails on my jeans. I believed she was really beautiful, but her beauty came with a cost that night. Her pain.
"I will wait for you. I waited then and will wait now."

My eyes shut close. I saw nothing from that moment. I dreamed of that day once again, and the pain that came with it broke my limbs, my back, and my tears out of my eyes.
The person I was in those dreams left the Golden House to search for someone. "I will wake up now," I repeated to myself a few times. "I'll wake up. I'll wake up now..."
The dream continued against my will. I cried even harder within my unheard self. But it still continued to day two of the dream cycle then day three. It only stopped with the promise I gave in the dream. The dream promised, "I need to get somethings done. You don't have to worry. I'll be back soon with "peep2". I'm going to look for her, and get her back for sure."
"Huh, huh, huh. Ah, ~ Ahhhaahh!" I was back. The fear that I may not wake up again startled me to death. I jumped from my lying position fastly with my hands fisted on my forehead. My tears dropped like rainfall on my pants. Jesse's hands rubbed on my back. He comforted me.

She woke up.
Jessica jumped off my laps, where I placed her head, crying even crazier than before. Her cries echoed as its waves broke every glass in the room, including me. I pulled my hand on her back and tapped as to comfort her while my face was turned to the opposite side and looked at the ceiling. I did not want our eyes to meet.
I could not stand looking at her like that. The bright happy Jessica was sorrowful. I did not like it.
"You woke up?" I wanted to confirm it with her.
"Uhm," she lowered her hand to her eyes to move her tears off her face, " I'm here now. The sun is out."
It was morning already. Sunlight flashed through the darkroom. "Yes," I confirmed.
She gently started tieing her hair to a ponytail. "I'll wash my face. You can sleep now. I know you didn't close your eyes once last night." A smile slowly broke through her face.
"You seem confident, hm?"
"Of course. I'm the sleeping beauty you hear about in tales. You couldn't sleep from my beauty." she joked. "I'll leave ahead of you. You rest here now."
"Are you sure you're better?"
"No need to worry," she raised her arm and stressed her biceps, "I'm very strong!"
She walked out of the room; left me to rest.
