World Through Blank Eyes

I left the room so Jesse could rest. The corridors were as calm as Arthur; every more restrained. Although no sunlight reached in, the feeling that you get from the place says it is morning.


I walked a step by step away from my room to the stairs and down to the living room where everyone was. It was 6:30 in the morning, yet a lot of us had already woken up. "Good morning!" I brightly greeted them.


"Good morning, Jessi," Jong Hyun greeted me back.


"That's unusual, Jong Hyun is awake this early in the morning! What had gotten into you, Jong Jong?" I teased him.


"Jong Jong…" he looked at me with furious eyes, "You know I don't like it, don't you?"


I could not stop looking at everyone that was in the room. Something urged me to observe them. They spoke, argued, and laughed while I stood there in a corner alone waiting for someone to speak to me. "I miss Jesse..." spilled out of my mouth by mistake. Oops...


"You miss Jessee~, HA~!" Alden caught me.


"I'm happy for you guys~" Lowell followed, "Hehehe, I miss Jesse too. Where is he?" I was grateful to Lowell for slowly changing the subject.


"He usually wakes up earlier than Jessi by a little. He probably slept in." Leala Black, who was right between Lowell and Alden, answered on her (Lowell). It was weird for her to know, but I passed it.


In our circles, Jesse was the one who drove me to speak to everyone; he being there made me want to leave him and start speaking with someone that is not him. But noticing how much he had been going out of his way for me made me realize how great his presence is to me.


With all of them there, I did not feel the effect of time passing on me. In a matter of seconds to me, it was already afternoon and Jesse came in to join us. "Hey, Jesse..." I hesitantly raised my hand to greet him. I was not sure if I really wanted to pull it out for I knew Jong Hyun was waiting for the simplest flaw out of me to get back at me for calling him 'Jong Jong'.


Jesse walked in the room, "I slept in. Stop looking at me like this..." Jesse was like a magnet. Once he came in, everyone in the room stopped doing whatever they had and stared at Jesse.


"My dear friend Jesse, you know that you are really loved here, Enzo stated. 


"Yeah, but you, even more, my friend... If I had to say myself, I just happened to notice how you are very cared for here..."


"Oh yeah, I too agree," at last Jong Hyun started, "You know that some said they missed you, and their tears fell off their swollen eyes for hours." he winked at Jesse.


Jesse leisurely smirked in our direction, "And who shall that be?"


"Of course you may know, It's Hnhmn" I crossed my hands from Jong Hyun's back to his lips and covered it with my palm. Jesse eyes smiled at me. I was ashamed of my attitude but could not take it back now. "By the way Jong Hyun," I took my hand off his lips, " why do you use your 'seen name' and not your 'golden name' here?" I tried changing the subject.
