My Journey Begins

I woke up the next day, feeling totally refreshed. Will was not in his bed so I presumed he woke up early.

I got ready, took my backpack and left the cabin. I turned to look one last time at my room. I was getting the feeling that I won't be able to see such a loving place for quite a long time.

Isabella and Will were standing by the river. A tall man was beside them, leaning to a solid black Chevy Impala. They were talking very seriously and the man seemed to be giving them some advice.

They saw me and the man straightened up. A grave expression welcomed me.

"You're late." Mr Turner coldly said.

"Sorry. I overslept." I said as I scratched the back of my neck.

After that, we hopped on the beautiful car and headed to the city.

After my ride in the car of Apollo, I was being overprotective. I didn't trust the driving skills of Greeks anymore. How did they even managed to get a driving license? Never mind, nothing's impossible.

To my great relief, Mr Turner drove carefully. On our way, no one said a word. The silence felt awkward to me, but for the other three persons, it was comfortable.

After about an hour long ride, the city came into view. The huge buildings looked as if they were touching the sky. We crossed the borders and entered the city.

The city was huge. Endless buildings lined on the sides of the road. Small shops seemed crowed. It had been few weeks since I heard the noise of this city.

About ten kilometers away was my house. Just by thinking about it made me feel homesick. I wanted to see my mom, but that wasn't possible.

The traffic wasn't bad so Mr. Turner drove smoothly. He stopped the car in front of a cafe and gestured for us to step out. We didn't argue.

"This is as far as I can drop you. Now you're on your own." he said. He started the car and then left us.

We looked at the car until it disappeared from our sight. We had come here but nobody had any clue what to do next.

My stomach made a growling noise and both Will and Isabella looked at me.

"Umm... I didn't had my breakfast." I said, laughing clumsily. "Can we please eat something first?" it requested and Isabella sighed.

"That's what happens when you get up late." she said and we entered the cafe.

I ordered avocado toast and poached eggs. Will settled for a cappuccino and Isabella ordered orange juice.

My breakfast tasted really good but I was too disturbed to savor it's taste.

"So, anyone got any idea?" I asked while stuffing my mouth with poached eggs.

"Hmm... I don't know." Isabella said. She was staring coldly at her glass of juice as if trying to frighten it away.

"Isabella?" she didn't respond or look at me. "Isabella?" I said again, this time loudly and she looked up at me, staring cluelessly.

"Sorry. What were you saying?" she asked.

"Are you okay?"

"Hmm" she said it so feebly that her words were almost inaudible.

"Adrian, what was the first line of prophecy again?" she said without looking up. I and Will exchanged curious glances.

'What happened to her?' Will's eyes seemed to flashing this question.

'I don't know.' I replied him back in the same mute way.

"Umm... it was 'Go to the land where the present is not.' " I said and she banged at the table like a judge, gathering the attention of the people sitting behind us.

"Sorry, please carry on. Don't mind us." I told them and shifted my attention towards Isabella who looked like she wanted to kill someone.

"This line clearly tells us where we have to go, but still I can't comprehend it!" she clutched her hair tightly in frustration and then clamed down just that immediately.

"We need help." she declared.

"Okay... so who is going to help us? Is there any kind of Greek-prophecy helpline number or what." I jokingly said and she glared at me.

"Umm... okay. so what were you saying?" I cleared my throat and took on a serious expression.

"I know who can help us in this matter." she smiled devilishly and I gulped down my saliva.

"Who?"
