Year (December 2019) A dead experiment that turned alive

“Before your father come back home, get lost…” her step-mother pushed her out of the house. 

Wu Jin Lan ran from her hospital bed.

She was feeling lonely.
“Mother, I am better now,” she pleaded so that her mother could let her enter in the house where she used to play all day long with her biological mother.

But after her death, Wu Jin Lan suddenly fell sick and the doctors told that her heart and organs were losing their routine and she might become a permanent hospital visitor and this proved true.

“Get lost and never come back, you are simply a trash and your father is simply wasting his money on his trash daughter, you are also snatching the money that my child deserve,” she scorned and spat out. 

Wu Jin Lan was broken to hear this, she walked back with heavy steps, her hospital long shirt swaying on her lean and thin figure.

The whole quarantine locality has a silence prevailing at this moment. 


The new cases were being admitted and this section was being prepared by three volunteer teams for them.


These cases has low percentage of infection and they look much better than ventilator patients.


This was the reason that diligent teams were chosen for this task, the goal was to take enough care so that these patients recover fast and return back their homes.


"You are so young, why did you choose to volunteer?" the woman saw Wu Lan diligently working and not complaining for anything.


Wu Lan was spreading bedsheets when she heard the woman, "I read in my alimentary* textbook, if you can help you should, (*In few regions alimentary education is what middle grade study and it is called alimentary education)" she simply answered.
