TEN

Today is a special day. We are learning formations in color guard! I play an important part in the routine, although I am not playing the role of the main couple. I am currently just a flag girl I'm hoping soon, the coach will allow me to use the rifle.

The first completion is on February 9th. We are doing 'say something' cover by Pentatonix. It's the longest song I will ever perform through my years of being a color guard girl. I am very proud of the freshman as well they have improved since the parades. They take their flags home and practice. They show they are dedicated to the team.

I'm pretty sure they started to up their game when they saw the seniors crying in the corner, when we didn't win the last parade in Pismo. They were so excited to play at the beach and they totally forgot why we went to Pismo in the first place.

I, myself wasn't as sad because I was used to losing by one point. It's disappointing every time but it's a given we would lose if we aren't focus.

But enough about color guard. My sister, or stepsister as you know her. Will be transferring in this school and join color guard. She was the captain of her color guard team back at her performing arts school. She moving to Coastvill to be with us, her family.I'm helping her move in today at 6:30 since I have practice today.

After practice 5:46 PM

Lilly picked me up from school and drove me home. I told her all about my school's color guard program. She laughed, she said she found it funny how much we all got along.

"Maxi, we're here"

I wake up from my little nap and grab my stuff out of the car. I took Lilly up stairs to my room and told her this is going to be our hang out place. Lilly smiled and tossed her self on the bed. Staring at the ceiling, I thought to myself how we still haven't moved her stuff into her room.

Lilly has a room of her own and the boys share a room, and the girls have their room as well. I thought it would've been a pain to get my little sisters to share a room, but they were than happy to do so.

After about two hours of moving, and placing Lilly's stuff into her room, we finally finished. I went to the kitchen and made dinner.

This week was the perfect week she could transfer into school. This week was the week we play our rival school Fresh-grove.  I tell you more about it later.

8:00 pm local diner

I took Lilly to the local diner and order her some food. I ordered a burger and tots. Lilly got a salad and ice tea. While me on the hand an Oreo milkshake, with ice cream on the side.

When we were done ordering I see a familiar face walking in. Remy, he was with Nina , Justin, and Steph, Justin's girlfriend. Jealousy...

As two of the most important crushes from the past walk in I try to hide my face. When I realize I can't hide my face, I pulled out my phone and pretended not to see them. Oh but Remy doesn't do the same, in fact he does the exact opposite.

"Lana is that you?" Remy makes his way toward me and my sister.

My sister looks up from her salad and smiles at the guy that called me Lana.

The reason we all get shook when males call me Lana, is because that's a family name that only my family and close friends call me. And when I say "close friends" I mean I do stupid things in front of them and act like everything is fine.

I look up to him, and wave. He and Nina make their way to us and Nina calls me up for a hug. I take it happily, but sis it was awkward with a capital A. I see Justin and he waves to me in acknowledgment.

I can see them eyeing my sister, seeing an unfamiliar face. I can tell Remy and Justin want to ask so bad. They are both so blunt. I look at Remy and tell him I'll text him about it later, in a low tone.

They left to a table far from us, thank Buddha. Lilly sat there judging me. She wiggles her eyebrows towards me. I blush and hide my face. But that didn't stop me from eating
